I received an email from godaddy for renewal of 5 domains. In the email, it mentioned that if I renewed 6 domains, I would get a discount. There is also a link to add more 7 domains. I clicked the link which took me to my account at go daddy where I logged in. It showed the 5 domains mentioned in my email and the seven that were added starting in January 2014. The amount was shown $160 approx and after the discount, it was $80+ and I clicked paypal and logged in paypal. While I was on paypal page, a page from godaddy showed asking for transaction confirmation and I did believing that I am confirming the transaction that I initiated. During my loggin at godaddy, I did not initiate any other transaction. The only one that was started by me was $80. I tried to reverse the transaction with godaddy but they want to cancel the registration of the domains which I do not agree to. The transaction of $1700+ seems to be running in the background and initiated automatically by the system.  Orange internet

I received an email from godaddy for renewal of 5 domains. In the email, it mentioned that if I renewed 6 domains, I would get a discount. There is also a link to add more 7 domains. Godaddy should not have done that but there is also the problem of the link which I used to reach paypal, this link should not have changed and paypal should not have allowed a page that differed from the page that I was on to be confirmed. By the way, their customer service confirmed that there was the page of my order of $80+ in the system. To initiate the transaction that has taken place, I would need to select all the domains (which I did not) and then proceed to check out. to test the system, I used the back button on go daddy site. For any transaction, go daddy has 4 steps for completion of a transaction, but this transaction was completed after the third step.
Brief: 1. Transaction seems to be generated automatically and runs in the background and not initiated by the customer. 2. The page that I was using to pay at paypal was changed and replaced by another page that was generated by the system. So like you are having another person making the decisions and deciding to make you pay $1700+ without your knowledge.

Contacted Go Daddy And They Refused

AUTHOR: L Nawar - ()

POSTED: Thursday, November 28, 2013

I contacted go daddy by phone and by email and they refused to refund the money except if I cancel the registeration of the domains. This proves their bad intentions because there is no need for revoking the registeration to refund the money taken illegally from my bank account. Revoking the registeration should not be the price for their illegal action. It is like paying someone money because he stole your money. They get rewarded with domains that are worth now more than $30,000 for free because they took money from my bank account illegally. Their request to revoke showed their greed and their bad intention. Because the renewal can be cancelled without the need to revoke their registeration. Here are some of the complaints that I found on two sites only. I am sure that if I search more sites. I will find more of them. You can read them and see if they agree with my complaint:
