litton loans is the biggest and most dishonest mortgage company out there we were trying to get a modification of our mortgage since may of 2009 my husband took a 5% pay cut to keep his job so we applied for a home modification it took until this past friday which was the 18th of september to get a response and it was in a form of a letter and it stated we regret to inform you your husband doesnt make enough money for a modification we called litton loan to find out what we could do about working out a payment option they wanted $2277.34 so my husband told them ok go ahead and do a draft from our checking account and the lady on the other end said sorry we cant do that my husband asked why not you have done it every other month the lady came back and said the expiration date on the letter of demand is tommorow and the only way to make a payment is to western union the cash and it has to be here by the close of the business day which is 1 pm saturday my husband then asked the lady what letter of demand she was like the one you recieved a month ago my husband came back at her and said yes the one your modification people told me to disregard that they are automatically computor generated so to make a long story short they took us up to the day before they were going to start foreclosure to try to take our home by not telling us we were not getting a modification and what was even better about that letter of denial we had kept contacting litton loans asking why no person from the modification department had even been in touch the letter of denial was dated for the september 10 a lady from the modification department contacted us on september 14 ,2009 to get supposidly more information to make the determination on the modification but the letter of denial had already been sent out 5 days before they ever called and then them telling us to disregard the letters of demand does anyone actually know what they are doingat this company because if it aint because of stupidity then litton is only in the business to steal peoples homes back
