I replied to a Craigslist want add , I got a response that instructed me to fill out a online job application. The application required I submit a credit check in addition to a resume.

A pop up ad for a credit check appeared for a fee of one or two dollars and a simular one week resume service was offered for 2.95 I also paid a 1.00 fee for downloading. My creditcard statement was billed over 60.00$ I cancelled the card .

I contacted the livecareer customer service and was told there was a 35.00 cancellation fee I didnt get a response to the additonal 26.00 $ fee . there was no indication at the time I purchased the services of the additonal  charges that would be deducted at a latter date.

The use of a nonexistent job offer, to build a customer base . They build a phony website MPBN property managment. And further decieve customers by continue to bill for hidden cancelation fees.

Dear Kevin,

I apologize for the misunderstanding. The $ 2.95 that you paid for has an auto-renewal feature and you can cancel whenever you are finished. We explain that the subscription is auto-renewing on the 15th day, underneath the description of the subscription in bullet form, as well as in the
confirmation email you receive once you subscribe.  The $34.95 is not a cancellation fee. Many of our customers continue to use our service for several months during their entire job search that is why they keep the service active. A monthly subscription to Resume Builder makes tailoring, customizing, creating resume and cover letters really easy and fast and you can even post your resume to more than 90 jobs sites which increases your chances of landing a job. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings!

You can also contact our customer service team for help! We are available 18 hours a day, 7
days a week from 6am- Midnight EST at toll free 1-888-816-0576 or through live chat on our site. If you prefer you can send us an email to: customerservice@livecareer.com. We also list our contact information on our "Contact Us" and "About Us" Pages on our site.

Best Regards,

LiveCareer
