LOCAL RECORDS OFFICE Recieved a letter asking for $89 processing fee, had me going as I had just went through a divorce and thought I had everything done. As I got to reading it does state NOT ASSOCIATED WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND THAT THIS OFFER SERVES AS A SOLICITING FOR SERVICES Indianapolis Indiana

I recieved a letter with a coupon attatched at the bottom stating they are in search of proof of property ownership of my home with a processing fee for $89.  I had never heard of any such fees as I had asked the or felt I had asked the appropriate persons to transfer title over due to divorce as this was never mentioned.  Once I got a closer look and reading it as for one it makes you think someone is asking your for or to get a copy of the deed to your house, but at your expense...  Really?   Then if you should read on it states it is not associated with any government agencies, however it does say this offer is affiliated with soliciting agencies and their services.

 People need to get a hold of this as some peoplel may not find the meaning and actually go for it as our goal in most cases are to keep our homes.  The envelope here is the same address as the letter is generated from though, so it sounds pretty legitamate in some aspect but after reading what others has been through with these letters, I will not fall into those hands as it is bad enough to keep up with the mortgage alone at times,   Seriously, someone needs to get a complaint going and attorney involved so this does not continue onto as I am sure thousands of more individuals like myself but just in fear of losing their home pay the price in more ways in just a processing fee.....
