At the beginning of this month (10/3) my company foolishly hired Logobench to create an original logo and website.  Things seemed to go well at the beginning. Initial logo concepts were delivered quickly (10/7).  Unfortunately things began unraveling even faster.

The concept that was closest to what was wanted was chosen, with hope that this was meerly a rough draft, and revisions would correct it. A new version was sent to us, without all the revisions done (10/9).  It was becoming clear that they would not be able to fulfill our needs.  A refund was requested, as they did guarentee a 100%  customer satisfaction refund. I was informed that their fine print clearly stated that once any revisions were done  refund is no longer possible (10/11).

At that time, I tried contacting them over the phone. And was unable to even get an answering machine.  As we seemed unable to get any of our money back, we (again foolishly) agreed to go forward in hopes we could piece something together from what they did.

A phone conference was set up with the head of our design team (10/14), to discuss revisions that needed to be done.  Again no answer. After 45 minutes of calling, an online representitive was contacted to see if anyone was there. Another 15 minutes later I was finally able to contact the person I was supposed to have a meeting with. Many revisions were gone over.

As of today (10/20), no revisions have come. But we have had time to find every one of their ideas online. 2 as clip art, one as a coloring page, and one tagged with a copyright and the owners name. A slight problem considering part of the package provided us for $1200 was ownership of the copyright.

I do have photos of all these things, unfortunately copright law prevents me from posting them here.

For the initial deposit of $600, we have no designs, no website, and a check card that had to be cancelled to prevent further fraud.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS

Refund ??

AUTHOR: grasshopper - ()

POSTED: Monday, November 18, 2013

On November 4 I received another email, to get specifics for a refund. And BBB was ready to close the case. 2 weeks later, no further contact from this lovely company....and oddly no refund.

Only The Truth

AUTHOR: grasshopper - ()

POSTED: Sunday, November 03, 2013

It is true, my partner was very unhappy  a company that had been reported to the BBB 12 times had been hired, and wanted out.  Once the refund policy was carefully gone over, it was decided to stay with you and hope for the best.

A new direction was never taken. Alterations to the "original" drawing were requested. For example drawing our product correctly. It is understood that the creative process is not always instant, and slight delays may occur. The problem came, not because of the delay but during it. Those extra days gave us time to locate every one of the "original" drawings, that we were being sold complete copyright to, on-line done by other people. An admission that we have in an email from you.

My partner had a long phone conversation with someone at your company, during which it was explained that it was a few bad employees and that a refund would be issued the next day (when account information was received by phone). Had that happened, I would gladly have reported on every site possible what a stand-up company you are, and that it was obviously a few bad apples.

Unfortunately, the next day, you refused to take account information to process the refund. And now you are appparently blaming the consumer for your bad business practices.

No exagerations, only the truth!

Partially false claims from Cynthia W****

AUTHOR: Tim Morgan - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 30, 2013

Cynthia W**** of GrasshopperVapes placed an order with us this month. after couple of days she claimed that it was placed by mistake by their representative and she wants a refund. After discussion she agreed to move ahead, clearly there was some change in directions due to which she made up this story and after realizing that refund is not possible as per the policy she moved ahead.

I agree that during the process there were some delays and issues with design qualities and due to which we agreed to process the refund for $600 and asked her to send us the Bank details (since she closed her credit card and we couldn't process a refund on that), but instead of further communication she has started posting exaggerated stories over internet. We as a business has our own terms & conditions which every client accepts before starting the work, customer in this case has violated our terms by spreading defamation and accusing us for conducting "illegal" activities..
