Love, Beal & Nixon KNA Unfair and deceitful collection practice on 11 year old account Oklahoma City Oklahoma

 12 years ago my life fell apart and I had to surrender my car back to Ford Motor Credit. I never heard anything after that day over eleven years ago until yesterday when I recieved a garnishment notice from my employer. I called Love, Beal, and Nixon and was informed they have been sending notices to my ex husbands mothers address, until 2010 and then to my parents old address until current.

I have been on the same job for 10 years and yet they could not notifiy me at a good address, but were able to send the garishment papers to my employer.

The paper my employer sent shows the date to be July 29, 2014, filed in district court on Aug 26, 2014; Love, Beal and Nixon mailed the paper to my employer on Aug 28, 2014 and I just recieved a copy yesterday September 17, 2014. I was not given the 30 day opportunity to do anything before having money taken from my pay.

The original debt when I gave the car back was a little under $8000.00 it is now right $18,000.00. This is unjust and deiceitful practice on Love, Beal and Nixons behalf...considering my parents were listed as a refernce and they have had the same phone number for over 30 years.

Something needs to be done about this so called Law Firm...
