Lowes, Troybuilt, MTD Faulty, Dangerous, fraud, Port Saint Lucie Florida

I purchased a 42" troybuilt zero turn lawn mower at the lowes in Jensen Beach fl. in Jan. 08.... when purchased it showed 40 hours, the associate asured me that it was not a return but those were merley testing hours performed by the manufacturer....

the mower within 3 months, while useing the muffler fell off. I fixed, and then the PTO decided to no longer DIS engage... once this happened I decided to attempt to take back to Lowes, And at that time they did exchange for me thankfully... they themselves said it sounded like I got a lemon...and I was at that time happy to an extent on how they handled the situation even though I had to go through a couple stores and beat up a bit about not haveing purchased the extended warranty...

This " NEW " Mower which showed 20 hours on it at the time of the exchange... and was again assured that these were testing hours and not a return....

Has now since broken down in what is under 60 days.... now, this mower has to lost it's muffler as the other did... the right drive or turning arm fell completely off while I was mowing a slope nearly over turning mower atop me, and now just yesterday while mowing the mower just stopped and will not start again.... repair will take at least 2 to 3 days to pick up and the repair it's self will take at least 2 weeks to even be looked at let alone fixed???

I write this report as when I exchanged the last mower at Lowes.. They assured me that since I did not purchase the extended warranty that should anything happen in the future with this " NEW " Mower.... I would be on my own and they would not assist with helping, exchanging, or returning this mower......Now I see why.... this is an obvious problem, product and they I am sure do not want to eat the expense...

So in closeing... Don't buy a Troybuilt " MTD " product ..... And good luck if you already have...
