This company advertises a free sample of their product and you only pay for the shipping costs of 4.99.  What is missing from the details is that they take your credit card for the shipping charges and put it on file and keep sending you product for $98.00 .  There is no documentation that arrives with the shipment so ...it is possible to think that you recieved another free product.  Upon phoning to find out what is happening, you are connected to a tele marketing centre that advises you committed to buy this product and recieve more.  When you tell the person at the other end you did not agree to these terms they tell you that you agreed to a "14 day trial" and that you have to cancel the trial or they will keep sending and billing your credit card.

Lets think about this....if someone sends you a free sample of a health product in the mail....and you try it for 14 days....do you send the unused portion back?  This is absolute fraudulent marketing at its finest.  I did not see these terms anywhere and did not agree to them.  I was told they cannot refund the $98 charge as it is their policy.

My policy is not to accept and or pay for things I do not want and did not agree to.  I am shipping the product back to them and having my credit card charges reversed.

You are instructed go to the companies web site should you want to cancel the order.  There is no place on the web site to submit a written cancellation.  So you are stuck with the call centre....which by the way is off shore.  The web site also says you need an RMA (return Merchandise Authorization) but this is not forthcoming from the call center.

I am sending the product back with a request for a signature. I will  also put a letter in the box requesting a full refund. They did not give me proper notification about being billed and or charged for their product so I see no need to give them the same courtesy about returning it back to them.

This has cost me a lot of time and frustration for trying out a product which I was only supposed to pay the shipping charges for as that was how it was presented.  I will never fall for this gimmick again and somehow we need to stop these kinds of actions from happening.

You Should Not Advertise Free Product Only Pay for the Shipping

AUTHOR: Roy G - ()

POSTED: Friday, January 10, 2014

Its not a free product if you charge $4.99 for shipping and then keep sending people product they don't want or need if they did not see the details and they were not disclosed to them. I never saw the document you posted. I most certainly do not have a copy of this document. And I did not agree or sign this document.  Its not good business practices or good consumer relations to do business in this fashion forcing people to take product they do not want or need. It makes little sense that I have to communicate with you on this site.  This pretty much tells the story about the way you do business.   Any other site would have an email contact and or a place to write to an officer of the company.

Forcing someone to pay for a product they do not need or want does not show good faith or good intentions on you or your companies part.  Honest companies that are not trying to deceive the consumer would take the product back.  Honest companies would have a way to contact the company via email or in writing and honest companies would not try to do what yours is doing and would corespond with the buyers in writing.  Shipping product with no documentation or bill of lading is deceptive.  I never once recieved any confirimation from your company that I agreed to any of these terms.  All other companies confirm the order and the terms upon reciept of the order.  If your product is that good why can't you take it back? Why is there no way to communicate with your company on the web site?  Why is there no followup documentation confirming the so called order and the terms?    Sorry cannot and will not recommend a company that does business in this fashion. Way to many questions with no answers, way to many complaints on this site alone about your deceptive marketing and sales practices....but nice try at a rebuttal!
