I, as many others, have been ripped off by this company. I should have verified the honesty of this company before I purchased, but like others, with the CREST name behind it, I did not think I had to worry. I purchased the free trial and paid the shipping. Then I received a charge for 88.97 to my account. All I have received is the free 14 day trial. I called the number and they instructed me to go to the website and email support. I sent an email and did not receive a response right away. They finally emailed me today and stated "As stated in the terms and conditions, you have 20 days from your trial order to cancel or you will be sent another fresh 30 day supply of luminousbrites for a total of $88.97." Since there was a back log, my postage was dated December 11th. My account was charged for the order on December 4th. When I physically received the free trial it was on the 13th or 15th. I did not even have 20 days to determine if the product works or to cancel before they charged me the 88.97 on December 29th. I NEVER RECEIVED another fresh 30 day supply of luminousbrites for them to charge me the 88.97. Therefore I requested a refund, which it appears I am stuck with!!! I am writing to warn people to investigate before they buy from any company.

"Update" After sending 3 emails on January 3rd, I finally received a response:
Your account has been canceled and you will not be receiving any more product from us. Check back with me mid next week for an update on your refund. We are switching over to a new system so it takes a few days. Email me again next week and I will have an update for you, it will also be a reminder for me in case it still hasn't gone through.

I sent the 1st reminder on January 7th, 2nd reminder on January 9th, 3rd reminder on January 12th. I received a response today from a different person, starting all over (which this must be a standard response):

You received a charge of $88.97 because you did not cancel your account within the allowed 20 day trial period, as stated in our terms and conditions that you are required to read before purchasing. As stated in the terms and conditions, you have 20 days from your trial order to cancel or you will be shipped (2) more bottles for the price of $88.97. This is a continuity program for customers who like the product. Any customer who cancels within that 20 day period is removed from the continuity auto-shipment program and does not receive any further charges or bottles. Here is a direct link to our order page which contains the terms and conditions on the page above the Order button (https://www.luminousbrites.com/order.aspx). Please be advised that your order would not have been processed unless you agreed and accepted the terms and conditions. You were canceled so you will not receive any more products and will not incur any further charges from us.

I responded back today to re explain the facts:
In reference to your statement:
As stated in the terms and conditions, you have 20 days from your trial order to cancel or you will be sent another fresh 30 day supply of luminousbrites for a total of $88.97.

I was charged for the free trial on 12/4. The free trial was sent USPS to me dated 12/11. I physically received this on 12/13 or 12/15. You debited my account again for 88.97 on 12/29. From the date you mailed it, it was not 20 days. By the time I received it, I would not have had 20 days to determine if I wanted to cancel. You charged me 18 days after you mailed it, and 14-16 days after I physically received the product.

I also never received Another fresh 30 day supply for you to charge me 88.97, as stated above.

I REQUEST AN IMMEDIATE REFUND AS THE DATES DO NOT ADD UP...

So, as you can see, I am still waiting...
