Madison County Sheriff's Office Inv. Pat Holl Refuses to charge a man for molesting, raping and druging children. Danielsville, Georgia

I married my ex-spouse in 1995 and moved to Madison County where we lived for almost ten years with my two young daughters. I worked in Gwinnett County and was the main bread winner in the family while my ex worked but stayed at home with my daughters while I worked either at night or overtime. I worked a great deal and my job kept me away from home a lot.

I have never trusted any man fully because of a very bad childhood that I went through with a man that no one suspected was a bad person. Anyway I divorced my ex in 2008 because he was having an affair with a young teenager.

In May 2010, my oldest daughter told me that her step dad had raped and molested her and her sister since they were 7 years old. He did this by giving them a drug called ambien which causes amnisia so they will not remember everything that happened and would relax them. I made a call to the police department where it started and got the ball rolling. My ex was arrested within five days of filing the report. The investigator wrote the report and handed it off to Madison County and all they had to do was take the warrants. Everything else was done.

A year later I had not been called in about the case in Madison County so I contacted them. I asked why the case had not went forward. I spoke to Inv. Pat Holl and he told me that he thought that the warrants were going to to taken by the other county so he did not move on it.

He later called everyone in for interviews after speaking to the other county and started his investigation. About every two or three months I would call to find out the status of the case. He told me that the prosecutor needed dates. I was able to give him the dates that he needed because we knew that this happened everytime I was out of town in training or working a side job which lasted two weeks out of every year.

Still nothing has been done. The last time I spoke with the Sheriff's department I was told that he would make a charge on something as soon as he could. Still nothing has been done.

The FBI has got involved in the case and took my ex's computer where they found a lot of child porn and he was indicted federally and has been arrested and out on bond.

I was told through the other county that the only reason he was able to get a bond set was because Madison County never came forward to do anything about this case.

My ex now has a trial date starting Feb. 16 and still nothing in Madison County has been done. I have contacted the courthouse and asked to speak to the prosecutor but have had no luck. I have also sent the Sheriff an email and requested his assistance in this matter but have heard nothing at this time.

My ex has told my children if they ever told anyone about this that he would kill them and me. THis man is walking around and he is a very sick man and needs to be put away for the rest of his life. I don't understand why nothing has been done and I need help getting Madison County to put this man away.
