MailChimp MailChimp offers both a free and paid for service, so I tried out the service for several months. During this time their sales team kept calling to get me to upgrade. Within 5 days of getting my credit card they closed my account sighting complaints from folks I had been mailing to for several years. So I am fine with getting kicked out, and I asked for my refund for the reminding three weeks. They said no, because I had used the service for 5 days. They were given two warnings to refund me or I would tell others how they do business. The company is a three person company with no one in America so was told by their CEO they would not refund my 3 weeks. Atlanta Georgia

MailChimp as it turns out is a website that lures you in on free offers to do email marketing aka SPAM and then when you signup for a paid for service with higher mass mailing cuts you off with in days of your monthly billing. I have spoke to several other people who also have been riped for by them also. Several other marketing companies aka their competitors tell me there is dozens of pending lawsuites but that the company is a front for a India based 3 person firm and in speaking to the owner he tells me to try and sue him that he is above any USA laws. Do Not, Do Not do business with them.
