Major Energy they told me that my utility company sent them that there was a mistake when we went to file for discount at the Salvation Army. I am a senior and dont need my bill going any higher *** ***** ** ** ***** *** NY 10962

     I was at home and someone knocked on my door.  When I opened it, the girl told me that she was for my electric utility CO. 

 

     She told me that there had been a mistake done on the paper work at the Salvation Army when we all went there to fill out our discount papers .  She then told me that we will get a less rate on our electric bill with this new rate that has been corrected.  She had a lot of information about every one that went there.

 

     I listened to what she had to say and asked questios she was able to answer them.  She called someone that I really didnt understand but she kept telling me  that it was OK and to say yes so I did. 

 

     I went out today and came back to a whole lot of people in our yard telling me and my friend that it is a scam.  I talked with the maintenance man who was leaving and he said yes it was and made them leave the property.

 

     I tried calling the telephone number that is on the paper and no answer only answering machine.  I called my utility co. and they said that they never heard of them.  I left a message that I wanted this cancelled.  I have 3 days to change my mind so I told them that I had changed my mind.  I signed the paper on May 25, 2016.  Today is May 27, 2016.

 

     I think it is very important that someone realizes that this is going on.  Again I am a senior and live on a fixed income and can't afford high bills or to be ripped off. 

 

     I thank any one that can help me out of this situation.

I was called and asked to please let everyone know that the company is not a scam and that they cancelled my application as I asked.

I thank them for being so good about this. They aid that the people that represented them gave wrong information.So I am atisfiied that I am cancelled.
