This is how this scam works they take your $7500.00 and tell you they can make your shop prosper. The problem is they don't tell you if it does not it is your problem.

They will expect you to raise your prices to such an insane level that you cant sell any work. When you confront them about it they will tell you that you don't know how to sell.

When you learn to sell and tell them that the people are bitching about the price once again you don't know how to sell.

My favorite part is they will tell you that "You don't need customers like that" no joke people.

This is the biggest scam I have ever seen any and all auto shop owners do not fall for this. They will take your $7500.00 and after that when the BS they feed you dont work it WILL BE YOUR FAULT!!!!'

Management Success Newbie

My husband and I joined Management Success back in September 2017. At first we thought it might be a rip off, however after being involved with them for the last few months our sales have doubled. Even with our years of experience in the industry, we were at our limitations in business and wanted to reach the next level but didn't quite know how. The $7500 that is mentioned is only the begining so this tells me that the person writing this didn't get far. They do ask you to increase your rates (to help you), they do tell you to look for better quality customers (better customers will not complain about a slight increase in rates), and I agree. We have had these type of customers because they knew my husband, wanted us to finance their repairs and never want to pay, it was almost a fulltime job collecting. You can't stay in business like that. Even if you offer to take some of it off some of them have the money but put you last regardless of the time you spend working on thier vehicle and money out of pocket for parts, they still don't want to pay. These are the people they are refering too. The bottom feeders that want you to finance thier business while yours is going out of business, the price shoppers. This is the step that takes you to the next level. You can dis them but don't knock it until you actually dedicate yourself to it. We still have our struggles with getting the workflow in place and finding the right key people to drive the working force, but when we do I can only imagine the possibilities for our company. We owe all of this thanks to Management Success. They give you the tools to improve how you run your business. They don't do the work for you. That's my job as a business owner.

 I am proof Mr. Master Mechanic!! I am a woman who has been in this business for 17 years and I am now a co-owner of a very successful shop in Florida. I happened to stumble across this when I was looking up management Success for another shop in my area and was sending him the link. I would have to say that the negatives are because the shops are not striving and they need an outlet to vent and have made Management Success their punching bags. Rather than writing negative reviews, maybe your time would be better spent on using their tools to come up with a better business plan. I've been to many workshops and seminars and hands down Management Success is in a league of their own, by their own rights! Woman owner Thanks to Management Success!!

 I like to comment on your ripoff post. I have been in the industry for 17 years, started in 2000 as a receptionist knowing absolutely nothing about the business, the only thing I had going for me was my connection with people. I was fortunate enough to have been a service manager for a great company who sent me to management Success in 2006. I attended a weeks course in Glendale, Ca. I truly thought I knew how to connect and sell service, boy was I wrong.

I was given so much knowledge and experience that I was on overload. When I returned to the shop, I put to use the tools that management Success had given me and from there my career took off. 11 years later and I am now a co-owner of my own repair shop and still to this day I use the tools I was given by management Success. I felt impelled to respond because you stated that their method was to increase the sales to an enormous amount that your customers thought you were redicoulosly high.

So I'd like to share something with you. I am the 10th shop in a 1 mile radius, with 3 shops to my right and 2 to my left, being right next door and the others are located across the street. My philosophy is making sure you connect with the customers and give them options along with priorities, this makes them feel like they are in control. How do I stay busy and in business with all these shops around me?? Because I have been given the tools from management Success. My shop will be a management Success facility.

I use the Mitchell software and I do not sell an estimate without making a minimum of 58% profit per invoice. My advise to you is that it's not management Success' burden that your not using the tools they gave you. You have to work it... make sure you're getting the best volume pricing on parts without losing quality. I am a woman in a mans field and I am a Success in this business thanks to Management Success! I could go on and on... but it's not a rip off I assure you.

 This company is like a businees college tuned to the automotive side of the business. They teach you how to be an owner, how to run an business and be profitable. I've met alot of wonderful business owners like myself and are thankful for the knowledge they have given us. With the information I have been given, it has truley saved my company and has given me the tools and knowledge to be a successful owner.

I am going to guess the person who claimed to be me in glendale was one of you scam artists. Why is it that you can only come up with 2 shops that claim you helped them????My guess is your nothing but a scam I am a master auto tech and all you people preach is screwing people for all you can get. When it dont work once again you tell people they don't know how to sell. Why not be honest and tell people they need to learn how to screw people to make money??You claim you help all these shops yet you have no proof. You post 2 rubutles from employess no doubt its very obvious and you could post thousands according to you. How about this rebute me with actual shops across the country with actuall adresses and phone numbers so other shop owners can contact them for the facts.I bet you scam artists dont have the balls to do that, I did your program and it is nothing but a scam you took my money and screwed me period.After I got screwed it took me over a year to get my customers back, my business went down in huge proportions. Oh wait I should tell people to pay twice what they would pay at any other auto shop and if I cant convince them of that it was because I could not sell and I did not need those customers.Management successs is the biggest scam on earth period dont let them take your money and destroy your shop!

I recently stumbled on the "RIP-OFF" report regarding Management Success located in Glendale CA. and I was surprised and concerned about what I read as I have been a client of Management Success for over 9 years, I would like to respond to the "Rip off Report" as seen from my own experience.
Is it expensive ?? Well....... compared to what? If you invest the money ($7500.00 or what ever the cost is) and you do their program but do not apply what what they teach in the manor that fits your area or customer base, Yeah sure it is expensive as you will not get the return on your investment, believe me I have been there and done that, I did not apply what I was taught at the initial onset of the program, fortunately I had a partner that did, and even though I was not cooperating with my partner or management success in implementing the program our business skyrocketed and after a very short while I was "on board" Applying what we had learned from the consultants.
Is it expensive ?? Well... if you are willing to accept and apply the business management principles that are given to you in a no nonsense manor from a strictly business stand point, this program and company can and does help you find a windfall of satisfaction in many areas other than just the dollar profit part of doing business, How about knowing you are doing the right thing for your customers and employees ? How do you put a price on that ?
I can honestly say and many of my friends and other shop owners can testify to the fact that I WOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS TODAY if I had not had the ability to apply what I learned, especially in the the economic times we live in today.
My only word of caution is you had better be ready and have a plan for the changes that will come your way once you start managing your business like a business. We as independent shop owners are more valuable now than any time I can remember in history, so we might as well manage our business and lives accordingly and relax just a bit, after all we do not have to reinvent the wheel, just make the one that we have roll a bit smoother.

If thats all you got from the program then you should find anouther line of work

The prices they charge are high I agree, but the info and stratigies are very usefull. You must moddify what you learne to sute your climent.If all you got was raise your prices then you are not following the program at all.Not all of it works hee in Colorado but most of it does.

I have used this program with some sucsses They do show you how to increase your poffit.They are not a rip-off
