Marketing Sessions ripoff Oakbrook Illinois

I worked for Marketing Sessions for about 5 months. As like many others, I was taken aback by the interview process, but needing a job and seeing this as a good opportunity took the position.

Over the next few months, my financial status began to crumble. I didn't receive my first paycheck until 4 weeks after i had started with the company. Even then it was only a mere $600. This was not enough for anyone to survive on, but i was made to feel like I would be missing out on a great opportunity if i left, and that it was up to my work ethic to determine how much money i made.

There were weeks at a time that i couldn't eat and worked almost 13 hours every day. I couldn't pay my bills and my credit score was drastically dropping. While I had built many close relationships with many people at work, I had become so finacially unstable that I didn't know what to do.

I put many miles on my already run down car, and saw little return on the work that I was putting in. I felt at times that i was one of the only honest ones working for the company after being chased out of many businesses. There were many paychecks that I received that were unexpectedly hundreds of dollars lower than what they should have been.

I finally decided to resign my position after months of holding on to an opportunity that wasn't there. While I had once seen Michael as a mentor and someone to look up to, I realized after bringing my concerns of what was going on to his attention that all he cared about was making money for himself. He claims that he doesn't know what kind of unethical behavior goes on in his company, but the truth of the matter is that he doesn't care as long as he is still reaping the benefits.
I advise anyone that is interested in a position with the company to look for work elsewhere. If only i had done the same, who knows how much better finacially i would be today.
