My mother was admitted to Martin Memorial Hospital for a stroke. She contracted pneumonia there which aggrivated her dormant pulmonary fibrosis and ecoli was introduced into her lungs when she was placed on a ventilator. She was not treated for the pneumonia for the first 72 hours until my sister made a scene at the hospital. Mother died from complications due to pulmonary fibrosis.
