 I am owner of a small business massive concrete, I was contacted to price a job via craigslist from this woman, we met she asked a ball park price when I told it to her she said that's fine but we came to a final agreement of a price per sq ft. Anyone that knows const. Or concrete knows this is normal, I asked for a third up front, a third after poured and a third upon completion, she only gave me $2000, after I reformed everything that the prior guy she hired and had took off did, she made me change everything 3 times and I repeatedly explained the price will change every time dimensions chamge, she said that's fine. While I was working there she asked if I knew someone that could plant some plants and mulch I said yes my friend, (IT WAS NOT MY BROTHER AND THERES OBVIOUS PROOF OF THAT) he did everything she wanted and even replanted everything repetitive, and she never paid him, and when he when's to confront her she hired two men from Craigslist for $50 that asked us if we knew where they could get drugs! again anyone that knows the business I charged her $7 a sq ft for exposed aggregate walkway, patio, and steps that the truck could not get to so was buggied and wheel narrowed,

we worked our but off and it came out great, this was a good size job and as far as her saying 2 weeks and still not done that is because there was a lot of hand work and I was working in December around the weather, I would not pour if it was dropping below 32*, as for 10" of concrete that was only in the 3 step patio on the faces, this again is normal practice, I had the back haunches with stone. She wanted me to cut corners on every turn, and I do not do that if my name is on the work, I take pride in what I do and I am a husband and father of two teenagers, I live in a small country town and do not have a lot but I work hard for everything I do. I had to pay all my labor, rentals, gas, etc.. And this lady still owes me over $4,000 I have a lien on the house and in the process of small claims. Anyone that needs to know the truth contact massive concrete, I will show you all pictures of the work, receipts, court doc, etc... I do not lie or cheat or steal when I give you a price we agree on everything before any work is started, but I do know that when this happen to me it was a bad Christmas for my kids as this was in early December a few years ago.

As for dishonest and a scam, I never have scammed or stole a rock from a costumer and I have always had high reviews and great reports, I do not advertise all work comes from word of mouth from satisfied customers, and I keep long great standing relationships as I offer an upkeep plan on all decorative concrete, I have never done a job and not been called back. This woman Gail Balser told me she bought the house to flip it and make a profit in itself is fine but when I added a lien on the property I found out it was owned by a big investment group from California, and she was handling the remodel and sale for them. So not only was I cheated and robbed I was lied to the whole time. Sorry to anyone that has to read either of these reports but I can not sit back and let someone try to ruin the name of a company that my dad started almost 50 years now and when he passed and I got older I kept the name and have always maintained professional, quality work ethic along side of it.
