Matthew C. Mullhofer ripoff Attorney set up a bogusand fraudulent asset protection took $4000 refused to refund $ Santa Ana California

This all started when IRS audited me and I hired Matthew Mullhofer to defend me and I assumed that he would be able to handle the problems but then i found out he never delt with the tax issues he just took my money and let the case go to collection.  This idiot just stuffed an envelope with my receipts and sent off the irs without knowing what the issuies are.  he did't even know what the forms on the tax return were.  Now i am out $1700.00 and i figure i could have done better by myself.  This crook is a greedy evil b*****d who will only line his own pocket and lead you on like he knows something.  just ask a basic question and he will say he has to research iit and charge you for the time to educate himself.

Don't be a fool and get taken for a ride.  Also he claims to be afinancial planner but he has nothing to advise and gets a fee to refer you to some bait and switch outfitters.  This nut-brain will do anything to deflect the truth about his lack of competency.  Ask this guy a very simple question before you hire him and see if he knows anything, then you can make your own decision before you waste thousands of dollars and your time.  then you won't have to spend money going elsewhere to clean up the mess.  Ask to see a financial license or a tax license or anything before you get ripped.

WE LOST OUR HOME AND GOT AN AUDIT FROM IRS. TURNS OUT THIS LOSER GOT CONVICTED OF RAPE OF A MINOR AND HAS A LONG LIST OF DISGRUNTLED EX-EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS.  I DO NOT RECOMEND YOU MEET HIM FOR ANY REASON UNLESS YOU WANT A GUARANTEED VISIT FROM IRS. 

This dispicable lawyer has threatened to sue me and other honest clients who just wanted to be treated with respect and not abused by this incompetant loser who does not know his way around the courthouse.  just a worthless cheater who takes home owners for a ride while letting there house go into foreclosure.  His past will haunt him when the truth comes out about the Matthew Mullhofer and the african american community.  Google: mullhofer rapist, mullhofer scams, mullhofer fraud and see the truth about him.

matthew mullhofer vicimized many consumers and mistreated innocent clients in orange county california.  I just want to warn anyone thinking about hiring matt mullhofer.  the office is just a scam.  Once they get you in the door and get you to sign papers, they will never do anything about your case or even remember who you are or act friendly towards you every again.

My wife and I brought in a Real Estate home mortgage to get my payment reduced and I was told to come back with all my loan papers for Matt Mullhofer real estate law expert to review.  His secretary made copies and we assumed Mullhofer would be looking at them, but as we found out he never really bothered to even open our file.  I know that because some papers were missing like the loan agreement and title to our house.  I told the assistant that I would fax those pages over but in the mean time mullhofer told us he would contact the lender but really never did.

After going to depos, hearings etc. I found out all letters to protect our assets were never filed and our court case on our house was dismissed due to lack of attorney communication of any sort.  Matt Mullhofer did not even file the court papers on the right forms.  the only thing he got done right was to get his money up front which i found out is against california law.  Attorney and real estate companies cannot get fees in advance for loan modifications which is exactly what mullhofer did.

Now my wife and i are out $ 2750.00 in addition to all the time and hassle dealing with a one hour meeting where attorney mullhofer did not really say a word - just agree and make us think we would win our case with our lender.  We just wanted to be treated with respect and have our case heard or at least try to contact our lender and save our home from foreclosure.  Now we have lost all our assets including our home. 

Instead, Mr Mullhofer violated state law, took our money and has not returned a single time my messages i left at his office with his secretary. Now that we want our deposit back and  he is either not in, in a meeting, or not available.  I would just recomend that you hire a different attorney.  Please warn anyone who you know may be thinking about hiring this dishonest and untrustworthy lawyer.

I don't know what you are talking about. Your smears about Attorney Matt Mullhofer do not add up. He filed my trust and a few LLC's for me (in different states). He was responsive, professional and transparent. If you had such a bad experience, why didn't you contact him?

After reading your complaint multiple times, I sense that you are either a competing lawyer in the tax field or one of their agents. The bogus complaint is very obviously a smear tactic. Referencing a boilerplate and IRS trouble is over the top.

To everyone reading Ron's complaint, remember that if there is a grievance, one can go to the State Bar. As of last fall (when all these bogus complaints started) Matt Mullhofer did not have one complaint.

The above report from Ron in Anaheim is a complete hoax. I have no State Bar complaints filed against me nor did I fraudulently take money from this person. This can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

This report about me was posted by a cpa attorney competitor of mine. He is about to lose his license by the State Bar of California. He has a pending trial in December of 2008. He is a very sad and disturbed person. I will pray for him.
