After visiting the store three times, and speaking with the manager of the store, it was agreed that a Sealy representative would have to authorize the exchange. After I was able to get in contact with that person, and send him pictures (they refused to come to the house to see for themselves), then I was finally able to exchange the mattress. Warranty is supposed to be 20 years, it's ridiculous that this $2,000+ mattress broke in 30 days.
The second part of my nightmare begins with the delivery of the box spring. Upon delivery of the new model, I noticed that the box spring was dirty and broken in several places. This was on December 30, 2008. I was told that a new, clean one would be brought back the very same day. This was a complete lie, and it was not until today, on the 6th of January, 2009 when I received the box spring.
