The owner does not pay the sales people and other business she owes money to. One of many lies heard frequently from Indigo, the owner, is "the check is in the mail."
They have only opened this year but in the presentation they say they've been open over 20 years. They also advertise a good BBB rating but if you go to the BBB website, Maui Dream Vacation Club is not found.
They will try to give you a certificate for a resort stay if you come to a sales presentation. Read the fine print on these things! They are not free, you have to pay taxes and resort fees. There are many black out dates and other barriers to prohibit you from actually using it. If it sounds too good to be true then it is. In order to use this "free" resort stay you must jump through many hoops. 99 out of 100 people end up not getting any use out of it. That is why they are so quick to offer them- they are a cheap insentive because they don't work!
Save your time and money and avoid Maui Dream Vacation Club.
