Warning to all McAfee subscribers=notice on their home page, or "my account" page, that there is virtually no "contact us"... no provision for you to cancel your updates, and therefore stop the automatic debiting of your account, ( a debit of your account with no warning by email), and can therefore cause a cascading overdraft of your bank account.

There is a law that allows them to take money out of your account on a regular basis and not even have to notify you,= it is called the "Evergreen" clause. That is, somewhere in the fine print when you sign on and subscribe, you agree to allow McAfee free access to your bank account forever! Do they make it easy to cancel or change or cancel your bank account? Are you kidding? They want to make it as byzantine as possible, no search engine provides you a way to contact them, no phone number or physical address is provided nothing!...

The point? They are not going to let you off the hook. So you finally find a phone number (where exactly IS that phone number?) what do you get? Someone in India who calls himself by an American name but when you speak to him, you can't understand him or her. he transfers you to someone else and you go "round robin" for as much as two days trying to get a simple problem fixed (such as your computer locked up after the renewal download...or simply doesn't function at all) don't try to resolve this over the phone...it won't happen; you will NOT resolve the problem; and worse, you will be billed for all the long distance time on the phone it required to try out solutions)

Point? McAfee is an unscrupulous company who doesn't really care if their product works, or care if your bank account is drained and depleted in the process.

Avoid McAfee like the plague.
No company should be allowed to operate in the United States, and / or operate on the WWW with these kinds of criminal business tactics. "Take their money and to hell with them." That seems to be their policy.
