Been to Meineke in Farmington, MO. many times and, with rare exception, left there feeling violated. Yet I kept going back despite warnings from previous customers. Last weekend my son was able to get his girlfriends car to Meineke to fix, what I believed to be a starter problem. I gave my son my card to pay for the "damage". Shortly later I received a phone call from my son saying that the alternator was bad as well as battery terminals. That seemed funny to me since the car had power (lights, etc.). I authorized the work (to the tune of $351.00) and kept my fingers crossed. You'll never guess what happened yesterday, Nov. 10, 2010. The car broke down in town with the same exact problem it had before. You'll never guess who denies any wrong doing or who refuses to back his work. Sam, the owner/manager/common thief of Meineke. He sent a tech out to where the car was located, and, in front of witnesses, the tech admitted that Sam wanted to get that car in and out last Saturday so he just had the help throw in an alternator (quick and expensive fix) instead of doing the right thing. So now the car is stranded and I'm out a sizable sum of money. Folks, in my 53 years on this earth, I've never posted anything like this. STAY AWAY FROM MEINEKE IN FARMINGTON, MO. You're car may or may not be fixed and you will certainly be overcharged. This isn't over.... 0 out of 0 people found this review helpfu
