After a run around for about 2 weeks i tried to cancel the insurance. They told me i could not do it over the phone i had to send a letter and i would be charged another month. I notified my credit card company of what happened and told them i needed to contest the charges. Discover was able to get half of the money i payed back because interstate never responded to them. They could not get the full amount back because they can only go back so far.
So it was a expensive lesson but if something sounds to good to be true it usually is. It cost me about $750 and i covered all my own repairs to my car. Not including the hours i was on the phone.
