I posted an add on craigslist for my HTC rhyme for 175 expecting a talk down for the price got a text from someone I kept asking them for their name nd they kept avoiding it so I thought that was kinda weird but I let it blow over then they asked what it would take to send it to Texas I thought that was kinda weird y is someone in Texas looking at phones in New York but once again I let it pass I looked up how much it would b to ship the phone to Texas it was 14.66 to ship the phone to Texas nd I told them that so being a normal person I would think we would have to work out the shipping arrangements nd they jumped rite on it themselves so things started to move a little fast so I started to question it a little so I told them I was having problems with Verizon wasn't true but if u tell someone that they would normally back out but these people kept going so I really started to question it I got a confirmation email from merchant express to confirm the payment nd that they would send the money order to me as soon as I sent them the tracking number for the phone ok that kinda eased my mind a little til I noticed in the email there wasn't any real company name or a business number to contact them all I had was the number they were contacting me from so I tried calling the so called business back nd it kept telling me the number could not be reached so red flags started going luckily my sister lives in Texas so I asked her bout the situation nd she said that it sounded like I was getting scammed so I called my local post office nd they even told me that it sounded fishy but that it was my choice if I wanted to send it out or not so I looked up the company online nd instead got another rip off report from this website thank goodness I did my homework bc I was gunna get scammed nd thank goodness for this website nd others posting their similar stories
