Beware and extemely leary of MGC Technical in based in Redmond Washington. MGC Technical would like to consider themselves an engineering firm and that they provide a vaulable service. However, have non-trained individuals draw lines on prints and managing projects without field experience is the most pitiful excuse for an "engineering" company. There are no engineers on staff and the owner Mike Carpenter isnt an engineer either. MGC Technical literally has "kids" managing projects that do not have an expereince whatsoever. They NEVER, EVER take into account the most cost effective way to do an outside plant project or how to work with the providers to determine the best and most appropriate way for construction to occur. It you want lines on a print, a 3 year-old can do what MGC Technical is giving customers. Its pathetic. Go to there office or see the guys they have over-seeing projects; looks like a bunch of high school kids. If you want OSP "engineering" and construction done and designed correctly, stay away from MGC Technical. They ride the coat tails of a bunch of work they have done for schools; its government work and they can get away with sub-standard quality design. They are clueless about about designing anything that needs to resemble an end-to-end solution. MGC Technical has been a complete nightmare to work with. If you are a telco or service provider and need real prints and not lines draw in without taking anything else into account call MGC Technical. Buyer beware of MGC Technical Consulting.
