This is the worst experience I have ever had. I paid in advance and in full and they never even showed up. Just took the money and ran, over $2,200. I spoke to the police and my only retribution is small claims court. After running their criminal records I discovered the two people in the picture are confirmed criminals. Both of them had many small claim charges on Missouri's case net as well as drug charges. Come to find out Michael Kovaleski just got out of prison and is on parole. He goes by an alias, a completely false name he just made up, Mike Kolchinski. It looks like Robert Harwell and Michael Kovaleski have teamed up to simply con people, not move your belongings.
On his webpage, Robert Harwell (the so called owner) describes his business as having a strict drug and alcohol policy and being very careful about screening his employees yet I discovered on Scambook his right hand man, Michael Kovaleski, is a confirmed heroin addict and conned the greater Kansas Ciy area out of over $50,000 while he faked having cancer to friends, family, and customers to extort sympathy and money. Case net showed me Michael Kovaleski has about 9 small claims cases that have already been filed and judged against him. There is even a case documented that he lost custody of his children due to sexual abuse and yet they think it’s OK for him to enter people’s homes…Baffling? I'm financially devastated and still have to hire a new mover. I found a link on Scambook that back in 2013 Channel 9's Michael Mahoney did a complete three-part story on Michael Kovaleski and exposed him as a Kansas City con artist. caught him on camera in all kinds of lies on a pool repair he never did but collected the money on, just like my situation. The links I stumbled upon to uncover the truth are below. Do yourself a favor and STAY CLEAR of INTELLIGENT movers and con artists Robert Harwell and Michael Kovaleski. I was conned out of $2,200 in September 2016

Hi, my name is Robert Harwell the owner of Intelligent Movers. I have made every effort to contact this person with no success. This claim first showed up on Yelp, Yellow Page and Google and has been removed after investigating it’s legitimacy. At no time, have we had a customer by this name. We have searched city records and contacted the police departments and there was neither a report made nor a call to dispatch by this individual. We have chased this report from Yelp and Google for being false and are working with an investigator to determine the source.
We at Intelligent Movers believe in taking pride that or customers feel appreciated. My employees during their time at Intelligent Movers represent us while on duty by following process designed to protect the customer and the employee.
We at intelligent will pursue legal actions against employee theft and false claims that hurt our business.
