Micro Center Removes Items to Dodge Advertised Deal On Website Hilliard Ohio
*Author of original report: Micro Center Ripoff
*UPDATE Employee: Bad assumption
I just tried to put an order through Micro Center because of some deals they were offering, and because I called up the customer service representative to verify some shipping information about an item in stock, that item was subsequently removed from stock while I was in the process of making the order.
It is deceptive of them to remove a product just because they are not willing to honor a deal they have in place.
Because of this I will refer all friends and family to try a reputable website for there computer parts instead of Micro Center.

To the Rebuttal, is not just a coincidence that they removed all items that were epson printers, and when I called customer service about one still available for purchase, it was removed from the website while I was ordering. For you saying it just sold out, I called customer service after they pulled the product and the representative over the phone told me that they pulled the product off the website and would not sell it even though they had it in stock.
That is why Micro Center dodged on a deal that was going on through there website.

What was the item that you were inquiring about? Instead of assuming that the item was "pulled because it was too good of a deal", its most likely that it got sold out while you were placing your order. If it was indeed a "great deal", then everyone else that regularly visits the site also seen the same deal. Also, emails are sent to our regular customers that advertise some of our better specials.
So next time that you shop elsewhere (since you stated that you will "never shop with Micro Center again"), please keep in mind that you are not the only customer that that company has. Thanks!
