This company uses late night infomercials to target individuals with stress and anxiety issues.  My experience goes like this.....I called for the free trial cd and ended up authorizing a payment from my debit Mastercard, for a 4-DVD system.  The amount was garbled on their recorded authorization.

They then placed a pre-authorization hold on my checking account for $199.95.  Immediately following, they charged my account $217.45.

When I started experiencing issues with bank overdraft fees, I investigated.  When told that my account had a hold for $199.95 in addition to their total charge of $217.45 I contacted customer service at Medwest Center for assistance.  They claimed there was nothing they could do about the pre-authorization, and that I would have to wait 7-10 days for it to drop off my account.  I even spoke with a customer service supervisor who advised me to request a RMA# to return product for a refund.  This advise was worthless because I was unable to cancel order before delivery.  When I recieved their product, I opened box only to retrieve invoice for return information.

I returned product to USPS where they advised me to mark box refused;  and used the initial postage to return product.
This product is now lost in transit in Garden Bell, CA somewhere.......

I reported this incident to my bank and filed a fraudulent debit card transaction claim.  This caused additional hardship because I had to cancel current debit card and wait for re-issue of new card, pin #, and activation.

Meanwhile, the bank charged me $5 a day for overdrafted account, and $35 fee for each transaction they paid because my account showed insuffient funds because of the pre-authorization.  This pre-authorization did not drop off my account for more than 10 days.  Neither the bank, nor Midwest Center could or would help me with this.

I continue to wait for some resolution to this.  It began Oct. 6, 2011;  and this is Oct. 31, 2011

One impulsive late night phone call continues to cost me in excess of $300 and more stress and anxiety than I had experienced prior to watching that Infomercial.  Beware of something that sounds too good to be true......
