I was on my way to my car after shopping at Home Depot at Great Mall, Milpitas, CA and as I was about to enter my car a man driving an SUV Dodge Journey with Plate No. 6KHW457 approached me and asked if I speak Italian and I said no. He said "pardon my accent" then said "'where are you from you look Italian" he has olive skinned, blue eyes, & dark hair & wearing striped blue suit and then said he was at a showing at the Moscone Center in SF and has samples of "leather" jackets left and he didn't want to take them with him back to Italy this afternoon because he would have to pay his rental car in the amount of more than $356. He started unwrapping two leather jackets, brown and black. I was not interested but he kept on asking me to buy them.He explained that he was from Italy, and had lost all of his money at the local casino, but needed to pay for his rental car for which he produced a receipt from Enterprise cars. He also stated that he needed to catch his flight back to Italy, and wouldn't make it unless he had some help.  He was seeking $400 in cash, and wanted to trade "leather" jackets for this favor.  I took pity on him and gave him all the money I had in my wallet.  The man in turn gave me the jackets and a business card and was in a hurry to leave when I asked him to give me a provisional receipt. Much to my disappointment later on when I had the jackets examined by the lady at Wilsons leather at Great Mall, she told me that the jackets were not genuine leather but were made from polyester. I looked up the man's name, Giuseppe M. on the internet, and found several complaints in the past that are similar to mine. Please help!!!

Two days ago a friend of mine was scammed $650.00 from by the same method, but the car is now a WHITE BMW SUV. Based on the discription of the crook from my friend and from everyone's discription within the Silicon Valley region, I believe I have found him.

The crooks current CA License plate number is 6MBC166 and is on Burkette Dr, San Jose.

Currently I am keeping an eye on him. I want to get back at him for robbing my good find and for everyone else he pulled this crap on. Jusctice does exist and this guy needs to be punished.

Please call the police at (408) 866-2101
