I applied for the Milestone Credit card on April 23 2015. I recieved a card in the mail saying I was approved for a $300 limit. The fees were high and I was not at all interested in the card since there was such a low credit limit and the fees were very high. With the card also came a statement saying I already owed them a fee of like $35. I hadn't even activated the card. So I immediately called them to say I was not interested and that I was not going to activate the card. I told them to close the account. I asked them about the $35 fee. They said the fee would be waved since I didn't activate the account. The date was April 15 2015. About a month later I get a bill showing I still owed the $35 PLUS a lete fee. I called them back and they appologised and said they would fix the error. About another month goes by and now it shows on my credit report as owing over $100 and late on the account. Friday August 9th I get a bill from them saying I now owe $170 and it is due on September 3rd 2015. I call them again. The woman on the phone sees I never activated the card. She says she need me to hold while she researches. This takes 10 minutes. She comes back and says they can wave the other fees but I need to pay the $59 annual fee. I told her I had called numberous times before and was told this was taken care of. She asked me who I talked to. Like I really remember that. Part of their scam. To put it back on the consumer. This is a scam. They are hoping I will pay the $59 to clear up my credit report that they have taken hostage. There is no way I am going to pay them. I wonder how many others have fallen victom to this? Keep in mind here that all I did was apply for their card. Nothing else. And this is what I am deal with. They have taken my credit score hostage until they get their money. Extortion. 

Another note, this credit card was promoted through Credit Karma. I'm trying to leave feedback to them on this card but am having a difficult time doing so. Funny, I tried to leave a negative review through their site but it won't let me. That amkes sence since I'm sure they get paid for referals to applications to cards.
