As the story goes: TReceived postcard in the mail - come to this free informational seminar and you get two airline tickets and hotel stay just for showing up...

We've done legitimate seminars like this before, so we didn't think we had anything to lose. Not so with this company.

Presentation was, of course, super appealing!

$199 Annual fee plus $399 one-time fee.

Gold Package $6995

Silver $5995 includes 3 resort weeks, 10 hot weeks, cruises, air, vacation packages, getaways

Bronze $4995 includes 2 resort weeks, 4 hot weeks, etc.

First of all, they want you to hand over the $5995 to them right then and there... the guy said he didn't know where he was going to be the next day - they don't tell him ahead of time... WHAT?  He finally, reluctantly gave us a phone number.

When we got home, I googled the company name and couldn't find one positive review about them. Bad reviews I understand, but ZERO positive reviews?

When we got around to checking into the "Free Getaway" we received for listiening to the presentation, here's what the small print revealed:

You "Include a $50 (refundable) deposit per person in US dollars in the form of a postal money order, money order or cashier's check only. The envelope must be postmarked no later than 21 days, etc."

You must choose three dates on your reservation form allowing at least 45 days in between choices. Arrivals must be on Monday or Tuesday. Mail the request back to us at least 90 days before the earliest chosen date. You will receive your hotel vouchers and airline tickets from Millenium Travel approximately 14 days prior to departure.  We will try to provide you with your first choice, but may have to give you an alternative option. Departure times are around 3pm and 9pm abd return around 6am and 1pm."

Upon completion of your travel, you may request a refund of the $50 per person deposit. You will not be elgible for a refund if you skip on a confirmed reservation. "

In a nutshell? If the freebie offer isn't legit, the big deal probably isn't either.

Bummer, because they made it sound Sooooo Gooood!

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I have used this company in the past although i did not like to work with Princess cruise line, I did the business with them because of their sales help. Janet, was the agent she was super nice and I had nothing wrong with them. They did not promise us any extra money but what I did like that she was honest. They did not promise or sell us any time share on vacations. So for you to do this to them was justly uncalled for. They did nothing.
