I too went to the presentation (Albany, NY) and got a certificate for free travel. We had to choose 3 dates and destinations; which was no biggie. But, when the company replied via regular mail and I realized that I **had** to reply via reg mail, I got a bad feeling in my gut.
If you're like me and **have** to plan your trips **many months** in advance (to request the time off and save up the $$) this process will drive you insane. And, you have to be a brain surgeon to select the correct dates, per their criteria. I went back & forth via snail mail about that, too!
Needless to say, the first two dates "weren't available". By that time, my co-workers were looking at me with daggers in their eyes because **no one** could schedule **their** vacations until I knew for sure when I'd be traveling. It got down to the wire so I called and asked if anyone knew when I'd be traveling and was told that my 2nd choice to travel wasn't available (no foolin'). But, the good news was that I could travel on the 3rd date. Of course that was the only date left. . . . . . . duh.
This process was a pain in the keister from the beginning and a real waste of time. I'm so glad I made a reservation for my timeshare just in case.
