We went to freelancer.com which was our first mistake and we chose Mindblowcreatives a.k.a freshinsite to create our website. We broke down payment to 4 payments. The company said they would finish the website in just a couple of months and it has been a year and a half and obviously no website was completed. We received the webpage layouts and had a couple of meetings on skype. Once they received another payment (the largest one) they cutoff all communication no longer responding to emails, skype messages and Freelancer messages. They claim to be from the phillipines and took our money and ran without completing the project as they said they would. We were VERY patient with them and trusted them however we got scammed.
Its been a year and a half now since the project started and after doing research i have read reports that this company has scammed numerous people. We have some screenshots and conversations with this people as well as some information and are hoping to get our money back as we got scammed for over $1300 dollars. The website was very large and we told them that before they took this project. We originally felt they just couldn't handle the project but obviously they were out for the money. Please help!

We have always worked hard to maintain the high level of our client service, and you can be sure that this incident was an isolated case and Freelancer.com can prove it as we have never heard from this person and do not even know if he was really a client because there was never a refund, complain or even an incomplete report that we have received from freelancer.com. The use of freelancer.com gives you the option to reverse the payment you made if your accusation was proven true, file a report or abuse, and even suspend the account if involved in scam/fraud/incomplete project cases and in our end, we have never been notified about this because never did we get a complain about scam.
We are open to communication and to resolving this matter if proven factual and are also willing to refund the claimed $1300 that we allegedly took from a website project, so to the person who wrote this post, please do communicate with us and email us through our website mindblowideas.com as no information was included in this blog (website name, client name or company name, phone number, or even an email address), http://www.ripoffreport.com has not contacted us regarding this issue so we are really unaware of the this.
Every company has it's own negative feedback and you can check that freelancer.com has over 100 complaints of fraud, scam etc., Amazon, Ebay, Zappos.com and other well known companies have their own complaints and even Starbucks..not paying taxes, etc. All businesses will get complaints and how these businesses take care of those complains is what separated a good business from a bad business - www.ripoffreport.com. On our end, we have done all means to get to this client to resolve the complain but we have never heard from anyone not even freelancer.com, our emails, our customer hotline about this complain.
