On March 31, 2016 I ordered the book, "The Code of the Extraordinary Mind" by Vishen Lakhiani.

After several calls to their customer support number: 1-877-987-2005, I was told there was a delay in delivery from the printer and I would receive my book in ten days. No book ever came. When I spoke with customer service, they provided a link to download the book in pdf form. I ordered a hard copy of the book. I DON'T have an ipad or Kindle. This is a bait and switch scam: Pay for a hard copy of a book, get a pdf download instead that you can't use.

On June 21, 2016 I received the emaiil below from MindValley stating the book was ALREADY sent.

I have NEVER recevied the book.

I contacted MindValley again and received the following request to fill out more information regarding my order.

MindValley never does anything but tell you the book is on the way.

Although MindValley clearly states in #2 below that all copies o the book have now been sent in their email on June 21, 2016, NO book has ever been delivered to me.

We found out last week that due to issues with our shipper, several thousand customers in the USA had not received their book. You were on that list. 

 

But I have final confirmation from the shippers that the book is being processed and shipped by Thursday.

 

I'm stepping in to solve a situation where thousands of orders did not get delivered in a timely way. I want to share what happened, how we're fixing this and how we're seeking to make sure you're taken care off. And I’m writing with great humility because I know I messed up. 

 

When I started offering the book on my site I outsourced the entire delivery and packaging system to an external company. Mindvalley was not involved as Mindvalley is mostly an online digital company and this was not our domain. 

 

So I had entrusted delivery to an External Company. 

 

But then what I learned is that due to internal problems within the company, their delivery and shipping was delayed by weeks - including to many USA customers who should have gotten their books almost 3 weeks ago.  

I am truly sorry this happened. This was a really difficult problem because Mindvalley, as you know, is such a customer service focused company, but dealing with this external party has been difficult and not the image or care that I want you to experience. Mindvalley stepped in to help out and handle customer support and ensure every customer gets the book and got substitutes to help ease the inconvenience of the wait.

Here's what we're doing :

 

#1 - You have Access to the Digital Version:

 

While waiting, we've sent you the digital copy of the book (the $13 Kindle Version) even if you paid just $6.95 as part of our free book offer to my loyal students. You do not have to pay anything else. This digital version is available in the online community. If you’ve yet to download it, just email support@mindvalley.com <mailto:support@mindvalley.com> and our team will send it to you. Load it onto your iPad or Kindle and you’re all set. 

 

In the meanwhile, you still have access to the Online Experience and the free course that came with the book "Extraordinary by Design”. 

 Hours of additional content has already gone up and more are going up weekly. 

 

#2 - The Physical Book is on the way:

 

The physical book has been sent to all remaining customers in the USA who did not get it. And you should still be receiving this within the next 10 days. 

 

I am genuinely sorry for the delay.
