Mizco Tough Tested Waiting for response to defective equipment Brooklyn New York

 I purchased both a 6 foot micro USB to USB charging cable under the brand "Tough Tested ", as well as a 6 foot audio to auxiliary cable under same brand name. I was excited about these items because I'm always replacing both cable due to the wiring right around the plug or tip of the cables breaking or losing the connection. Both items appeared to be heavy duty with a weaved type 'skin' around the cables and heavy duty looking plug housing. Within 1 week of the purchase, the charging cable stopped working and the audio quickly followed suit and stopped working as well. I could still get some function out of them by manipulating the cable near where it is plugged into the phone port. I have attempted to contact the company via website and telephone and have never received a response. I still have my.receipt from the initial purchase but I can't get any help from the company. In response to David, who wrote in saying with a little effort you can contact this multi million dollar company is not correct in his implication of the ease in getting in touch with this company...gw
