I received a package in the mail from United States Postal Service - Priority Mail 2-Day, from a company called: MKTPLUS Information - Arnold Carter, located at 143 E. Marshall Street West Chester, PA 19380. In the package was one sheet on white 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper and two USPS certified money orders (each money order had a value of $933.50).  The money orders were made payable to my name and from Arnold Carter.

The paper had instructions telling me that this was my first Mystery Shopper assignment and I get to keep $200 for my services.  They wanted me to go to my bank and cash the two money orders and the letter said if my bank doesnt cash them instantly, then to deposit them into my bank and wait a day for the funds to clear.  Then immediately go to one of the following stores to purchase (4) Vanillia Reloadable Visa Gift Cards in the amount of $400/each and use the extra $67 toward activating each card and the remaining for transportation cost.

Once I have done this, the letter says to send an evaluation report to David Evans at evans.shop@aol.com with the following information: Store name and address, Name of cashier, Neatness and smartness of cashier, customer service professionalism, Pin/Reference number on the 4 vanillia visa gift cards, rather or not I was able to purchase all 4 cards at the same store and how long did it take to purchase the cards.  "With instrucitons that read: Please understand importance of promptness in returning the completed evaluation"

Well of course, red flags immediately went up for me and I had my coworker (who is an attorney) look at it and he did some quick research and discovered that these money orders were fake and this was a scam.  I will be contacting FDC and/or FBI and filing a report
