Mometrix Media, LLC Scamming Teachers! Internet

I purchased the study guide entitled PLACE Gifted and Talented (50) Exam Secrets and found myself extremely disappointed with it and angry that I spend any amount of money on it. Despite all of the testimonials on Mometrix's website, this product did not prepare me in any way to pass the PLACE exam.  

How could it help me? There was no information in the book that was specific to Colorado and its laws and regulations. However, there were numerous practice questions and explanations at least 8 that were specific to Texas and its regulations. Thats over 10% of the practice questions! 

As another person stated on Ripoff Report, there is little information in the guide that relates to the practice questions in the back of the book. I spent hours on the Internet trying to find the needed information. How can a company release a study guide, with no information that would prepare the reader to answer the practice test questions? 

I decided to conduct some Internet research to find those theorists named in the practice test questions (but not in the study guide). However, Mometrix did not provide full names or references. When I finally found the obscure researcher named, I could not find supporting information that detailed the one question on the practice test. 

Much of the information in this study guide was common sense and repetitive. Yet, there was little specific information about gifted and talented theory, history, or the full array of GT experts and theories. 

The biggest scam of all is that the Colorado Department of Education has a link to company's products on their website
