May of 2012 I had the expierance of my life when I met Mr. Lynwood Smith at his office in Lakeland. I was greeted by a nice young lady and was asked to sit in a waiting room and to look at this portfolio of all kinds of thank you letters from so called different past customers. (Only later to figure out that these crooks had made these letters up themselves. My wife and I finally went in to meet the all mighty Mr. Smith (God) the miracle mortgage worker. He immediatly ask me for my credit card for a $450.00 appraisal fee before we even discussed the loan. We finally explain what the type of home we were looking at and he told us to just go buy it and our loan was approved. We entered into a contract and called Mr. God and give him the details and this is when the total nightmares started. He immediatly started backing down on his approval because of issue with my credit scores and I went to work on those problem to get the score where he said it had to be. When I got the credit way above the qualifying score he starting backing off agin saying that his underwriters would not lend anything under $50K. All of a sudden It hit me that this guy is not a bank like he led me to believe. He was a CON man with no decision making at all. I mean come on, if you own the bank, why do you have to get permission to approve a loan? Daaaaa! Along comes December of 2012 and we find the home of our dreams and we call God only for him to say, look guys, I think you should go elsewhere for your loan. Within 2 hours of speaking to Stacey Cropsy of Iberia Bank(A real bank)our loan was approved and closed within 3 weeks. I caaled God and requested my $450.00 checked be mailed back to me and assured me it would be mailed that day. That was Daecember 2, 2012. Guess what? NO CHECK YET> ANOTHER LIE. I will have the last laugh when I get a judgement in small claims court and avoid him to make settlement and let his credit go down the sh* hole. PLEASE!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS CROOKED CON MAN BUT GO TO HIS FUNERAL AND WATCH AS AN AUGER WILL BURRY HIM BECAUSE HE IS SO F*KING CROOKED
