I switched from Cox Communications to DISH Network in August, 2016. The promise was to receive a $100 Giftcard if you sign up. I did sign up and completed all of the appropriate documents to receive the Visa Giftcard. I checked back with DISH several times to see where my giftcard was and they always said it takes 4-6 weeks to be patient. I call today and they gave me Mpell Solutions' number. I called today and spoke to a girl named Theresa. She was very rude and told me that the deal expired and that there was nothing she could do at this point. I feel the $100 Visa giftcard is owed to me. I am now locked into a 2 year agreement with Dish and feel I was ripped off

It sucks dealing with rebates

AUTHOR: James - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 06, 2016

As a Satellite Dealer I was once involved with XM Radio sales. One year they offered a 100.00 rebate if a customer bought a Radio.

I sold two Radio's to 2 customers and after 6 weeks they didn't receive their rebates. So I called XM and they told me just because they advertised the Promotion didn't mean they were behind the rebate.

So they gave me the phone number to the company offering the rebate. You talk about the run around they gave me. Luckly I advised both customers to copy everything before the mailed the rebate off and even the upc off the box.

After both customer and I call them for a month they finally got their rebate. I was prepared to give each customer their 100.00 each if they didn't received the rebate. One of the customers was a long time friend of mine and he wasn't worried about getting screwed by me.

I once had a customer's receiver stolen out of my office and it cost me 800.00 to replace it.  Maybe when your worried about the rebate your going to get. Maybe you should think about finding someone who might stand behind it to. Even if they aren't the ones offering the rebate.
