Beware~ My wife went to this location (4012 Gateway Drive #120 Colleyville TX 76034) for some work done and in 24 hours had a condition called "Infectious Blepharitis" my wife called Laura Rappoport to report her condition and that she needed to be treated with an antibiotic. To my wife's surprise Laura stated that my wife's eyes were clomped? I am not sure
what that means, however, I told my wife to call her back and at least get a refund to help cover the doctors expense and medication which by the way never happen. To all you ladies out there please do your homework before you let
this lady touch you! My beautiful wife lost 3 days of work and was in agony from facial swelling, redness and drainage from the infection~

Admitted photos NOT of Mrs. Walsh

AUTHOR: laurar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 24, 2012

An admission by Mr. and Mrs. Walsh that the photos they submitted are NOT of Mrs. Walsh or of work done by Laura Rappoport.

That about sums up this fictitious complaint.

Defamation is a serious offense.

Defamation may be a criminal or civil charge. It encompasses both written statements, known as libel, and spoken statements, called slander.

I'm happy to put the LeBlanc Law Firm in touch with you if you desire.

Mrs. Walsh admits images are NOT her

AUTHOR: laurar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 24, 2012

Great, an admission by Tim and Bianca Walsh that the images they submitted are NOT Bianca Walsh or the work of Laura Rappoport.

That should be the end of this unsubstantiated, deceptive complaint.

OR

libel 1) n. to publish in print (including pictures), writing or broadcast through radio, television or film, an untruth about another which will do harm to that person or his/her reputation, by tending to bring the target into ridicule, hatred, scorn
or contempt of others. Libel is the written or broadcast form of defamation, distinguished from slander which is oral defamation. It is a tort (civil wrong) making the person or entity (like a newspaper, magazine or political organization) open to a lawsuit for damages by the person who can prove the statement about him/her was a lie.
Publication need only be to one person, but it must be a statement which claims to be fact, and is not clearly identified as an opinion. While it is sometimes said that the person making the libelous statement must have been intentional and malicious, actually it need only be obvious that the statement would do harm and is untrue. Proof of malice, however, does allow a party defamed to sue for "general damages" for damage to reputation, while an inadvertent libel limits the damages to
actual harm (such as loss of business) called "special damages." "Libel per se" involves statements so vicious that malice is assumed and does not require a proof of intent to get an award of general damages. Libel against the reputation of a person who has died will allow surviving members of the family to bring an action for damages. Most states provide for a party defamed by a periodical to demand a published retraction. If the correction is made, then there is no right to file a
lawsuit. Governmental bodies are supposedly immune for actions for libel on the basis that there could be no intent by a non-personal entity, and further, public records are exempt from claims of libel.
However, there is at least one known case in which there was a financial settlement as well as a published correction when a state government newsletter incorrectly stated that a dentist had been disciplined for illegal conduct. The rules covering libel against a "public figure" (particularly a political or governmental person) are special, based on U. S. Supreme Court decisions. The key is that to uphold the right to express opinions or fair comment on public figures, the libel must be malicious to constitute grounds for a lawsuit for damages. Minor errors in reporting are not libel, such as saying Mrs. Jones was 55 when she was only 48, or getting an address or title incorrect. 2) v. to broadcast or publish a written defamatory statement.

Admission of false evidence, End of Story

AUTHOR: laurar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 24, 2012

Wonderful, now you've admitted that the pictures are NOT of Ms. Bianca Walsh, or of Laura Rappoport's work.

That's the end of this story.

Or, you can let me know if you would like to proceed:

slander n. oral defamation, in which someone tells one or more persons an untruth about another which untruth will harm the reputation of the person defamed. Slander is a civil wrong (tort) and can be the basis for a lawsuit. Damages (payoff for worth)
for slander may be limited to actual (special) damages unless there is malicious intent, since such damages are usually difficult to specify and harder to prove. Some statements such as an untrue accusation of having committed a crime, having a loathsome disease, or being unable to perform one's occupation are treated as slander per se since the harm and malice are obvious, and therefore usually result in general and even punitive damage recovery by the person harmed. Words spoken over the
air on television or radio are treated as libel (written defamation) and not slander on the theory that broadcasting reaches a large audience as much if not more than printed publications.

Misleading, fraudulent photos, not of Ms. Walsh

AUTHOR: laurar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 23, 2012

Mrs. Walsh posted two pictures, supposedly of her damaged eyes,  on her complaint.  Both pictures have been found to be copied from other websites.

The picture of the woman with red upper and lower eyelids actually came from DIYHealth.com.  You can take a look at it's original form here, http://www.diyhealth.com/knowing-blepharitis-eyelid-inflammation.html

The close-up picture came from MedicineNet.com.  You can take a look at the un-edited version of the picture here, http://www.medicinenet.com/blepharitis/article.htm#what_is_blepharitis

Copying photos from other websites and using them as your own is a significant problem.  It is unfortunate that Bianca Walsh chooses to conduct herself in such a manner.  This certainly detracts from the legitimacy of her complaint.

Another Fraudulent Picture, this one from DIYHealth.com

AUTHOR: laurar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 23, 2012

Now it is confirmed that both of the pictures Bianca Walsh posted, supposedly of her eyes, are fraudulent and are NOT of Ms. Walsh after all.  The picture of the woman with red eyelids came from DIYHealth.com.  You can take a look for yourself here, http://www.diyhealth.com/knowing-blepharitis-eyelid-inflammation.html

The picture of the extreme close-up came from MedicineNet.com.  Take a look at that one here, http://www.medicinenet.com/blepharitis/article.htm#what_is_blepharitis

It is a shame that Ms. Walsh feels like it's necessary to make false, misleading, inaccurate and fraudulent complaints.

Mrs. Walsh posted a misleading picture

AUTHOR: laurar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 23, 2012

Well, what do you know, the picture Mrs. Walsh posted leading readers to believe it was a picture of her eye is really just copied from an article written for MedicineNet.com.  You can take a look at it here, http://www.medicinenet.com/blepharitis/article.htm.

Who knows where the other pictures came from, or who is in them, but this certainly does not give her or her complaint much credibility.

Check out the real article for this photo here http://www.medicinenet.com/blepharitis/article.htm.  I've also posted it here in it's original form, before it had been edited to look like it came from Ms. Walsh.

POSTED: Thursday, August 23, 2012

I'm not sure why someone posting complaints won't use her name but I will make the assumption that "Mrs. ****" and "Disappointed in Southlake", is actually Mrs.Walsh from Watauga, so I will address this complaint, once again, based on that assumption.

Mrs. Walsh was informed that it would be best to remove all of the lashes that were glued together and to her eyelids.  However, that would take more time that I had booked, as she told me she needed a lash 'fill'.  She said she couldn't do that due to "time constraints" and asked that I fill in where I could then the others "could be replaced as they fell out."  As per her request, I filled in the very few lashes I could find that were not glued together and tried as best I could to un-stick some of the excessive amounts of adhesive that the previous technician had used.

Mrs. Walsh refused my request that she stop by my office or call me regarding her situation and also refused to send me a picture of her eyes at the time of her complaint so I can't comment on the validity of her posted photos. Again, I wish the Walshes well with their search for a provider that meets their needs.

"Infectious Blepharitis" It is what it is!

AUTHOR: Tim - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 23, 2012

To whom it may concern;

My name is Mrs. ****, I searched several lash salons/permanent makeup locations on the internet to find the best one. I thought because Laura was a nurse she would be a good fit. I did share a story with Laura that during my last visit with un-named salon that my lashes did stick together when I opened my eyes. Laura never stated that my extended lashes were botched or that they needed to be removed.

I would think an R.N. with over 10 years of training in permanent make-up would have removed all the lashes if she felt in her professional option that were applied Botched.  Why would you apply lashes to a client that in your option were applied incorrectly?

Additionally, I never said that the last place was terrible. I was looking for a location that best suited me, and could work with my crazy work hours.

I spoke to Laura several times via texting, and she did ask me to come to the clinic. I told her that it was not necessary; I explained my diagnosis was from a Medical Doctor in Southlake, Texas "Infectious Blepharitis" I also told her that over 50% of my lashes had fallen out. She denied this had anything to do with her lashes or adhesive that she used. I ask her politely for a refund.

As Laura stated in her answer It is always unfortunate when someone ends up with a procedure they are not pleased with I could not agree more. I still dont know why you wanted to argue with us. The diagnosis is what it is.

As my husband stated, please DO your "homework" before having any procedure done. Your provider should see to it that you are pleased with her work and free from infection during follow up.

I want to thank my husband for his love and support during this time. Testimonials are priceless.

Disappointed in Southlake, Texas

Mr. Walsh's wife, unfortunately, went to another provider and ended up with a botched procedure.

Ms. Walsh told me that her experience at the unnamed place was "terrible", that the "other provider started crying", and that "by the end of the procedure she couldn't even open her eyes".

The Walshes refused my request for her to call me, stop by my office, or at least send a picture so I could make an assessment, and instead began sending threatening text messages.

I did NOT speak to Ms. Walsh so I must assume that the word "clomped" is her description.  That isn't a term I would have chosen and I have no idea what kind of condition that might describe.

It is always unfortunate when someone ends up with a procedure they are not pleased with.  About 20% of my business is correcting other people's mistakes and I strive to correct the errors as best I can each and every time.  I wish the Walshes well with their search for a provider.

If you are interested in finding out more about the procedures I do you can go to www.mpipermanentmakeup.com, or to read what other clients have to say, go to http://mpipermanentmakeup.com/about/testimonials.htm, or call 817-600-7264.

As Mr. Walsh states, please DO your "homework" before having any procedure done.
