Mr Good All Services Cass West Fraud, Scam, Threatening Edmonton Alberta

I hired Cass West through Kijiji to clean and deodourize my carpets in a condo unit I rent out. When I spoke to him, he was able to come straight to my condo that evening to begin cleaning. After my tenants met with him, they called me immediately to not trust him, as he made comments about "ripping the landlord off" and how the cleaning would not rid of the strong pet odour but he would clean anyways to make money off of me. When my tenants communicated this to me, I called Cass back immediately and asked him to stop and leave (duration of about 10 mins). What he left me was an invoice for $222 for a carpet cleaning and deodourizer. He stated that when I called him back, he had half my carpet completed in less than 10minutes (I have a 1300+ sqft condo) and that the smell was gone. I have had carpets cleaned before, they take hours so that was the first lie he told me. When I returned to Edmonton, I came to the unit to inspect. Nothing was cleaned and the room he "deodourized" was completely rank. The only thing he did was actually steal my tenants chemical they purchased to put on carpet and threw it on himself.

Since Cass did not complete any work and only intended to scam me, I refused to pay him. He threatened to place a lien on my condo for the amount; my expectations as a way to scare someone into paying him. He dropped the price three times to see if I would pay, another indication he is just looking for cash out on someone who thinks they have to pay a criminal.

My recommendation is to NOT use Mr Good All Services and to recommend him as a fraud artist to any one you speak to.
