Mr. Transmission THEY ARE LIARS AND THEY TRAP YOU INTO STAYING WITH THEIR COMPANY! Orange Park Florida

It all started when my car started jumping. I first went to Aamco who was going charge me $2000 but I couldn't afford it. I then saw Mr. Transmission and stopped there. I told the manager Steve about our situation on how I don't have a lot of money to spend and how Aamco was going charge us just to look at it, I just wanted to see what was wrong with the car. So then Steve told me "DONT WORRY WE'LL LOOK AT IT FOR FREE", I thought wow what a relief. I dropped my car off the next day for them to check it. I got a call from them like two days later and Steve told me it was going have to be rebuilt and the price for it was $1887 for a 6 month warranty or $2175 for a 2 year warranty.(EVEN THOUGH AAMCO WAS GOING TO CHARGE US JUST ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT).I told him I don't have the money to do that right now so he offered us to do a loan with Wells Fargo but they denied it. I really didn't want to drive the car and make it worse so then my friend told me of a trusted auto shop that they always go to, so he took me there and the guy said it was only going to be $1525 and they had a lot of AAA members that gave the company a 100% positive feedback, that place made me feel so at ease unlike Mr. Transmission which they gave me a bad feeling in the first place (ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR GUT FEELINGS).

I told Steve about how it was going be cheaper somewhere else and that since I was a AAA members we got a 10% discount. Steve said with an attitude voice, well your gonna have to pay $389 for us to put it back together n I said that was ok, (#1)(EVEN THOUGH HE SAID IT WAS GONNA BE FREE TO CHECK THE CAR). 2 days had passed, I finally called them to see if it was ready n he said no cause I have other vehicles waiting to be repaired right now ("EVEN THOUGH WE WERE THERE FIRST"). 3 days later I finally called again and he said it still wasn't ready but I'll lower the price for you cause I don't want to lose your buisness. He said he could lower the price to $1750. we really needed our car so I thought "what the heck go ahead and fix it" (SINCE THEY ALREADY HAD MY CAR HOSTAGE FOR A WEEK NOW). I would have had to pay a lot more money if we were going to switch. 2 days later he called to let me know it was ready. I had to borrow $600 from my mom cause I needed money to pay rent so she lended me the money because we only had close to $2000 on us to fix the car with. When I get there I asked if I could use the $100 off coupon the I got online he said yes. So then he told me the total was $1904 (#2)(STEVE ONLY TOLD ME IT WAS $1750, HE DIDN'T TELL ME EVERYTHING !!!) and we asked did you take the $100 off, he said yes. I looked at the bill and it didn't show it was taken off, I showed Steve and then he said we already gave you more than $100 off as it is and we cant let you use two discounts (#3)(WHAT THE HECK, HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE THE $100 OFF IN THE FIRST PLACE). I was furious that the had lied to me so many times and I was very scared that maybe he had done something bad to our car. Needless to say I was right, my car was worse than it was when we first brought it in! My car started to jump even more than it use to, the gear is harder to push from drive to reverse, and my cd player all together stopped working. I took it back to them the next day and Steve said its not the transmission that's causing it, sounds like the exhaust is clogged, I nearly started to cry, I can't believe how were having the same problems and their blaming it on something else now!!! At least I was smart enough to not have them look at my car again cause I knew they would charge me even if they said it was free, and probably charge me an arm and a leg just to fix the problem. So now that they gave me even more problems we have no choice but to get a new car because our car is not worth another $1500 repair!

USE A SECRET CAMRA ON THEM, SEE WHAT THEY DO WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS CARS SINCE THEY KEEP IT FOR SO LONG, PLEASE THEY NEED TO BE CAUGHT!)
