Mugshots is currently being sued for extortion and I just thought I would throw that out there. I don't have any mugshots but I know they are ruining people's lives. It's despicable what they are doing and a lot of copycat companies are out there. There are companies that also list personal details of bankruptcies online and divorces. Things that really embarrass people and never go away. They say they are protected because anything listed in the courts that is not sealed is public information but it is just trying to humiliate people and shame people, most times for money which is nothing more than extortion. I've created numerous fake facebook profiles and twitter accounts just trying to throw these data miners off my tracks. It really is not safe or productive to damage people in such a way.

There's currently a class action suit in progress in Ohio against all the mugshot websites. If you check the domain registration for mugshots dot com you'll see it's privately registered (cloaked identity). Scammers love to use private registrations for their domains.
