I was hired as a maid, they gave no training and I found out where I was working through a website. I had to pay for all gas and supplies, they told me I would make 70% and after working 3 wks, I tried to pick up my check at there office and was told there are no longer there, after many emails, and telling them I couldn't work with out gas, they wired me 50$ and said I would get paid later, another week went by and my schedule was packed online, i refused to work with out pay, so finally they gave me a little pay but not all, I worked anyway in good faith and noticed that I was doing jobs for other girls, that just quit with out notice, i contuinued to work and finnlay refused to do one more job with out pay. They took me off schedule, locked me out of the system and and not replied to emails, there number is a recording and can't get ahold of anyone. I know one other girl that never received a dime and is having the sane issue, after mulitple email they said they are filing chapter 11 and nothing more. Don't work there, it's a scam, we asked the reseptionist at the place where we interviewed and she said that this has happened to many girls before and none of them to her knowledge have ever got there pay.

Shame on you, My New Maid!

AUTHOR: Jenni - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, March 08, 2015

I was a former cleaning contractor of My Name Maid, and I did not get paid also. They hired cleaning contractor from craigslist.org city of Dallas, They said you got paid every 2 weeks. When it was the paid date and you did not see money coming into your bank account as promised. Josh (Joshua Blancett, who always said he was just the manager , but actually he is the owner of My New Maid) would told you that SOMETHING HAPPENED,you would get it together with your next paycheck.  Even the address in their website is not a real physical address, it is just a common area on the hallway of that building which he used for interviewing workers. He cancelled this place also since a lot of workers went there asking for their money. Finally when you realized it was a scam, you maybe already worked for free for 3-4 weeks. Then they will not answer any of your calls and emails.

When one of the contractors stood out saying she did not got paid, My New Maid was making false story . Actually , They did not pay us !!!   Everybody worked hard and earned the company good reputation at that time, and everyone left when they did not got paid. The business dropped a lot and you could check yelp.com and google review now ,several  former clients were complaining my new maid even charged their credit cards several times per client while they did not asked for the service. My New Maid is NOT HONEST AT ALL to both contractors and clients. There is no such person or manager named Mark Williams in this company as well. SHAME ON YOU, MY NEW MAID!

There are a horrible company, they don't pay weekly and I have contract to prove it. They don't pay at all but the contract said every 2 weeks. Also they dong charge 50% of bookings. I know many different girls who worked there and they all say the same thing. "Never got paid" now I don't believe 5 girls are lying to me and contracted me for no reason.

They say that I opened a company and did all this stuff however, I have multiple time dated emails, showing that I was wanting paycheck and that I had to leave job with out it. I asked them 4 times what they want me to tell the clients and they never replied. After they refused to pay and me and 2 other girls tried to get our money, is when my friend opened up cleaning cares. I'm not sure why they say it's me.

I have 2 other girls that have not been paid, Cindy and Hannah, Im going to tell them both to file seperate reports so you can see that this company is a bad lier. Also I tried to return there horrible vacuum, however they up and moved and when I sent emails about where to return it( I have copy's of emails) they said that their filing bankruptcy. If anyone wants copys of evidence thrn let me know.

i have been working with a new company called homejoy, and they always pay. Also worked for maids quarters before and they paid.

UPDATE REPORT FALSE

Dear: Disgruntled Former Contractor,

You wanted to work for this company and agrees to be a 1099 employee then you get let go for stealing clients and now you wants to posts untrue stories.  You got paid for what you cleaned and handsomely at that.  This is silly.  People wanting something that they did not earn.  How does anyone expect to get paid additional for something that they did not earn? So you go and put up a posting here and that is going to support your cause how?  You were hired as 1099  and when you cleaned you were paid a very high rate of commission.  That was the deal that YOU agreed to and signed on for.

You signed up to be a 1099 independent contractor and you got paid for your cleans.  (i was even nice enough to help you out because you needed some equipment and gave you a vaccum and supplies to use).  I guess the nice guy does finish last. You need to look at the contract you signed with us and realize that you were fully compensated for your contributions and nothing else should be expected.   You are damaging not only the companies reputation but the people that work here as well as any one else that could benefit from our services or employment. If you can prove that you were not a 1099 employee and that as a w2 we took taxes out please forward that to me and i will rectify that. What a shame.

Oh! I forgot to mention you owe us $10,456.00 for breach of your contract for contacting our clients and starting your own company called cleaningcares.com and for not returing your equipment and supplies you charged up.

Very Tacky!

Mark William

Owner
