At the end of an online survey they give me a toll free number to call to get a gift card as payment for the survey. 1st question when a human answers, is whether I'd like a $100 gift card or some other form of payment I cant remember. I say gift card. Great he tells me he needs to charge $1.95 each for the 2 clubs. MyMaxSavingsClub.com and couponTravelShop.com. I figure I can risk $4 to see if it's legit. If that's their whole scam, no major harm. I have 2 weeks to cancel or they charge me 16.95 a month. I buy. At the end when the guy is confirming the sale, he says I'll be getting a $100 voucher. Voucher? You said gift card. I should have cancelled, but the guy talks me out of it.

I get the emails and check out the sites and realize it's total BS. The products are no particular bargain and many of the "Featured" items are out of stock. The Rebates are useless. 2 or 3 days later I call each web site and cancel. Naturally a day or so ago, I'm charged $17 by one of the sites. I can play nice and call them and order them to refund my money, with the threat of calling my bank, or I can just have my bank refund the money, which is a black mark on their record. I plan to call my bank. because they should be shut down as soon as possible.

I'll see if the $100 Voucher is real in a few weeks. Since I was told it could take 6 to 10 weeks It I'll bet it's total nonsense, with enough restrictions to make it useless. The coupons they offer on MaxSavings may work for some people, but they wouldn't do me enough good to pay the monthly membership fee.

If you've joined this scam call your bank and get a refund based on FRUAD. Ask for a refund of the initiation fee as well.

Employee ALERT

AUTHOR: TruthsSeeker - (United States of America)

You sound like an employee of this ripoff company.

My wife fell for this scam herself and canceled when she never received the goods promised. I just noticed on my checking statement they deducted an additional $16.95.

For what it's worth, I own two businesses and make a comfortable six-figure income while supporting a family of seven. If this company can't be trusted to make good on their promises, why should  they be trusted with my credit card number?

While you act like $16.95 is no big deal, just wait until you experience credit card fraud a few times before opening your mouth next time.

this is not a scam people.

This company is not a scam!!! I save $200 a month on these sites.  If you guys would actually pursue the membership, you would reap the benefits of the websites and savings clubs.  I DID recieve my Gas Voucher & I save 10% on everthing I spend at wal mart, target, best buy, cvs, & walgreens; prescriptions and other purchases. U guys try the "free trial" and get pissed when u dont get the full benefits.  Its your fault for being so cheap!!! OH NO!!!! NOT $3.90 CHARGED TO MY CARD!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! haha! Maybe thats why u guys are so upset, because your too broke and flip out over $3.90. Thats less than a pack of cigarettes, Less that a beer at your local bar or liquor store.

If you guys would quit searching for "FREE STUFF" online, maybe you wouldn't be so upset when u have to pay for excellent services.
