Obviously you didn't read any of text on the checkout page other filling out your account info fields. The price $88.99 is stated 3 times on the checkout page, including a checkbox that says "I agree to the Terms and Conditions and enrollment in the Auto-Ship program at $88.98/mo." that you must check prior to finishing the transaction.

They also have a "Satisfaction Guarantee" frame on the checkout page which mentions the auto-enrollment for $88.99 twice.
