The website N1M (number one music) is a scam site.
They give the artist the impression all these other people from around the world are subscribing to your artist page and yest when you attempt to contact all 270 plus so called subscribers I had....almost all of them bounced back or I recived no response.
Especially when some of the so called fans were saying amazing things about my music...they couldn't wait to buy the album blah blah blah.
Where N1M blew their scam is when on the same day I up load 2 songs one goes straight to number 6 and sits there for a week in the charts...but the other (just as good) is at 358 supposidly.... So I write to N1M ask them to explain how this could happen one song is on the top for almost 2 weeks and the other is way off... so what did N1M respond and do...
All of a sudden the one song that was way out in left field is now number 3 and the other song that was number 6 is now back at 178....both songs only being on the charts after 2 weeks? WHAT A CROCK OF S***.
I have a background in the music industry for years and I smelled a rat right off the bat....so when I wrote to support fist they tell you....we calculate the charts each week...if you change a genre it can affect the standing on top of number of plays you are getting. Well 2 songs were put up the same day...nothing changed and one song had sat their for years I just forgot about...it was a notice fromo N1M that the original song was now up near the top of the charts and I should check it out.
The site looks great and has wonderful functionality but they are lieing to my fellow artists big time! Therer are doing this to get you to take one of their packages either gold or diamond which is nothing more than a scam. The charts you just ahve to listen to ...in order to see there is no way the majority of songs in the top 10 would EVER make it there becuase it is complete garbage.
I was almost going to sign up until I checked around...and sure enough lots of artists are sounding the alarm bells that this site is one big scam to just get artist money and they are absolutely right!
From all the records I had they were manipulating my page to make me feel great....but once I contacted them to explain they canceleld my account no word or warning and Have not responded to questions.
I am reporting them to the Canadian authoritites because this is just so wrong to do this to artist playing on their dreams when all the s**t they send you of all these people from around the world listening and loving your music....it's all comeplete BS!
So hopefully this report will help a few artists BEFORE they fork over cash to this pathetic website becuase what they are doing is so discpicable as if artists need more BS to deal with then they all do just to get their craft recognized or to have a career.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE TELL ALL ARTIST THEY ARE PLAYING YOU LIKE FOOLS BASED ON YOUR EMOTIONS.

Anyone that goes #1 or even make it to the "Top 100" on NumberOneMusic, is most likely a VERY talented artist or spend a decent amount of money in promoting/marketing. How many major artists have you heard in your life that wasn't as good as Indie artists you know? If their charts are fake than the billboard 100 and every other chart is fake too because i never bought anything from cardi b, lil yatchy, 21 savage or any mumble rapper for that matter, yet others do. Just because YOU don't listen to it, don't mean OTHERS don't. I have nothing against Cardi B, Lil Yatchy, 21 Savage, or any other mumble rapper, but I know unsigned/indie artists that are WAY more talented and WAY more unknown. A 100k followers don't mean you are a better rapper than a artist with 10k followers. It means you had more EXPOSURE. I've heard rappers with less than 500 subscribers on Youtube that were better than artists with major record deals. Just Google C Venus... Prince EA... and Immortal Technique. There's millions of dope rappers you never heard of! If you doubt your own ability because you made the top 10, you need to build your confidence because you obviously suffer from depression or lack of confidence. Please Get help! I work in the music industry! That's how credible this information i'm saying is! These charts are not false! They are REAL!

THEY DON'T GUARANTEE YOU A RECORD CONTRACT, A GIG, ANY MONEY, THEY OFFER A PLACE TO SPREAD YOUR MUSIC, OFFER WAYS TO SELL YOUR MUSIC AND PROMOTE IT! MOST OF IT THROUGH FACEBOOK AND TWITTER!
NOT HARD TO UNDERSTAND RIGHT?
WHAT THE H*LL DID THESE GUYS EXPECT IT WAS GOING TO DO?
So NO! It's not a scam, they do what they offer to you!

I have experienced the exact same thing and now they won't delete my account and have started spamming me more because of my request. These people are complete low lifes.
After my WhoIs research, it appears they have WhoIs protectors to keep them hidden. Hahah.. that's a good sign. The problem is: I found the guy's name in another IP he had that is connect. Denis Khorev (or Denis Montero on Facebook). He must have been married then his wife realized he's a lowlife schemer.. probably schemed her too.
Not sure why agencies don't do more to get rid of these scammers but this is a clear case of it. DDOS the s**t out of them..
