Naiwen Zihui Zhang has stolen money and items from individuals using the sites Flickr.com and Etsy.com. She continues to ignore the individuals she has scammed despite being active on other websites and has not returned the stolen money or items.

Naiwen Zihui Zhang frequented communities dedicated to collecting and trading stationery, and she also sold stationery online. Around September 2008, she created a sales post on Flickr.com, listing several items and their prices. Several people bought her stationery through Flick.com and email. Others arranged item trades or swaps. Around this time, she sold stationery on Etsy.com as well.

Despite waiting several months, the customers never received their items, nor did they receive full refunds from Naiwen Zihui Zhang. A few buyers were able to retrieve a portion of their money back from PayPal.com after initiating a complaint, but not in full. A few people have come forward since the incident, claiming that Naiwen Zihui Zhang sold them damaged items.

Naiwen Zhang's last known address was in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA. Her PayPal address was naiwenzihui@yahoo.com.

Received item, threat of lawsuit.

AUTHOR: Name - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 01, 2009

Today I have FINALLY received a package from Naiwen Zihui Zhang. It took 11 months and a ripoff report to finally get everything back. I did not receive a return of the item I sent her, but instead I received the item she promised to send all those months ago. It is completely ridiculous that it has taken so long for her to return everything.

However, Naiwen Zihui Zhang has chosen to claim I was harassing her and said I will be hearing from her lawyers, so of course this situation is not resolved for me. When I do hear from them, I will be posting another update.

Still not resolved.

AUTHOR: Name - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, August 31, 2009

Summary: After 11 months of silence and denial, Naiwen Zihui Zhang has admitted to the theft and has taken action to return everything, but is now retaliating against me by threatening me with a lawsuit.

After this complaint was posted, Naiwen Zihui Zhang decided to return to Flickr and offer apologies and refunds. She finally admitted to running off with everyone's belongings and she posted a comment encouraging everyone she owed to contact her. I contacted her and was told she sent the item she owed me last Friday and that it should be arriving in the mail shortly.

However, she did not apologize to me and instead threatened me with a lawsuit:

"I gave you a memo but you never paid me for anything. No money was ever sent to me. Now being human, I am willing to admit that I just might have not seen it. If I owe you money I will certainly give it back but so far as I know, you never gave me a cent.

I'm giving you these things so you will stop harassing me and stalking me online. You will receive it shorty because it has been in the mail since friday.

The report you filed on me was extremely insulting to me too. The google search is extremely visible and there is no way to edit the content. What you've done is underhanded and excessive.

I have sent money, items, some gifts and a long letter to my friends, even other people but you are mostly definitely not on that list. Everyone got letters but I don't owe you anything. I have already filed reports with "Working to halt Online Abuse" as well as filed reports with other cyber crime agencies and an IC3.

I am also meeting with a lawyer to determine whether bring a criminal or civil suit against you.

Enjoy your memo pad... you will be hearing from my lawyers."

It seems Naiwen Zihui Zhang is more concerned with getting revenge on me for filing this ripoff report than she is with making things right. She cannot take the report down like she did with my other one, so instead she attacks me, claiming I harassed her by contacting her numerous times and putting up this report.

I have not done anything to warrant a lawsuit, and my messages to her were not harassment. All my communications with her have involved me repeatedly asking her to return everything. She chose to ignore me and others despite being very active on other sites. It is not a crime to repeatedly contact someone who has stolen from you. It is not a crime to ask around to see if anyone else could contact her. It is also not a crime to tell other people about your true experiences with a thief. And that's exactly what Naiwen Zihui Zhang was, until she finally decided to send everything back this month.

Posting a ripoff report was the very last resort, but it got results. Only after this report was filed did Naiwen Zihui Zhang take any action. This whole situation would have been resolved if she had just returned everyone's items and left it at that.

Unfortunately she is extremely angry and embarrassed at what I have posted about her on this site, despite it being true, and has decided to bring lawyers and lawsuits into this mess. She is still trying to play the victim when it was her theft and complete lack of communication that led to this report in the first place. I have the right to report anyone who steals from me. People have a right to know which thieves to avoid. Instead of apologizing immediately, her first course of action was to deny everything, which is evident in the very first rebuttal. I think her actions speak for herself.

This situation has not been resolved. I'll provide more updates as they come in.

Evidence

AUTHOR: Name - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 25, 2009

First, I'd like to say that the following images have not been faked. They are all real screen shots of conversations and other material related to this whole incident. The people in the screen shots with complaints about Naiwen Zihui Zhang are all real individuals who can verify their bad experiences with her.

Because I am having trouble with the uploader for this site, I have uploaded all of my images elsewhere and put them up here as links. If the images become unavailable for any reason, I will re-upload them as many times as is needed. You may have to click on the resized image to make it bigger.

http://bayimg.com/image/madocaach.jpg
This picture is a screen shot of the original "scammer report" page on Naiwen Zihui Zhang. It was posted on October 18th, 2008 on Flickr.com and contained many complaints from the victims of Naiwen Zihui Zhang. I posted it as a way for other people who were scammed by Naiwen to find out what was going on and to warn other people about her. The page was taken down on August 2009 by Flickr administration shortly after Naiwen Zihui Zhang deleted her main Flickr account because "calling out others" is not permitted on the site.

http://bayimg.com/image/nadooaach.jpg
This is Naiwen Zihui Zhang's *kawaii_stickers* Flickr account profile. On this page she associates herself with her "cousin's" Etsy store Desdemona's Treasures. Desdemona's Treasures used Naiwen Zihui Zhang's PayPal addresshttps://mail.google.com/mail/h/1rh5ntzel8gsh/?v=b&cs=wh&to=naiwenzihui@yahoo.com, and received several negative feedback for not delivering items that were paid for. Both the Desdemona's Treasures Etsy account and the *kawaii_stickers* Flickr account were deleted. I have screenshots of the Desdemona's Treasures etsy store that will be put up on request.

http://bayimg.com/image/oadobaach.jpg
The above is my conversation with Naiwen Zihui Zhang regarding the memo pads we were supposed to trade that took place on Flickr.com. I have photos of the memo pads in question, and I can put that up by request also. The mail marked with a blue dot is mine, the red dots are her replies. The dates and times the flickr mails were sent will be displayed in the next picture.

http://bayimg.com/image/oadocaach.jpg
The following shows the times and dates I sent and received the aforementioned Flickr mails to and from Naiwen Zihui Zhang about the memo pad swap.

http://bayimg.com/image/oadoeaach.jpg
The above is one of many public photos Naiwen Zihui Zhang has posted of herself on her *kawaii_stickers* account, just in case she denies the *kawaii_stickers* account was hers.

http://bayimg.com/image/oadoiaach.jpg
This is a complaint from "Gabi" who made arrangements to trade a package with Zihui Zhang. The items pictured in the photo were items intended for Zihui Zhang. Note the first two comments made by Naiwen Zihui Zhang aka *kawaii_stickers*. Before the photo's description was edited, Naiwen Zihui Zhang lied to Gabi by saying she shipped Gabi's package out to her. Gabi did not receive a package from Naiwen, nor did she receive the decorated box Naiwen was supposed to make for her. She did receive a partial refund from PayPal for the unreceived box after filing a claim.

I also have the tracking number and slip on the package I sent her showing that it was accepted and signed for on September of last year. I also have emails and other evidence that this all took place. There are plenty of real people with established, online accounts who can verify her shady and avoidant activity. In other words, there is so much evidence against Naiwen Zhang that it is really absurd of her to

As to why I reported this on RipOffReport

AUTHOR: Name - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Zihui Zhang states in her rebuttal:

"Unfortunately ripoffreport.com does not verify complaints, so this was the perfect medium for a personal attack."

The reason why I chose to put this complaint up on RipOffReport is simple. All other sites do not allow the calling out of individuals, even if it is true and verifiable. Zihui Zhang will report anything I put up and get it taken down.

I simply want Zihui Zhang to return all the money and items she has stolen from people. This would not be an issue if she would just apologize and return everything.

Because Zihui Zhang chooses to call this report a "
hoax meant to damage (her) personal reputation because of a personal disagreement long ago", I find it is important to note, prior to September 5th, I did not know Zihui Zhang aka "Winnie". We were both in a community dedicated to collecting and trading stationery, and the only communications I had with her were all related to this transaction/incident. This is not about a personal disagreement, or anything out of spite. This is about a person who has stolen from multiple people and seems to have no intention of returning what she has stolen.

On September 5th, I contacted Zihui Zhang aka "Winnie" through Flickr Mail on her *kawaii_stickers* account on Flickr.com about trading a collectible memo pad. She agreed to trade one of her memo pads for a rare memo pad I had, so we exchanged addresses on September 7th. I also asked her to let me know when she received my package. I mailed my half of the trade on September 9th, and according to the tracking number provided by USPS it arrived to her residence on September 11th.

During this time, I contacted her about some memo pads she was selling on another Flickr account, "usahanawinnie". She replied to me on September 12th and gave me a total invoice for the memo pads I was interested in. I gave her my Paypal address as requested but I did not receive an invoice from her. She did not mention receiving my package, which I thought was a little strange, but I chalked it up to her being busy. That was the last time I heard from her.

I have not received Zihui Zhang's memo pad from the first trade we both agreed to, despite her receiving my package through tracking confirmation. She has ignored all of my emails and attempts to contact her. I thought I would have no problem trading with her as I've purchased from the etsy store Desdemona's Treasures (that is tied to her PayPal account), without any incident. She seemed to have good feedback history from many other people so I was extremely disappointed with the way this turned out. Many others (some of which claimed to be good friends with Zihui Zhang) expressed shock at her behavior as well.

Zihui Zhang was active on her Youtube account while everyone was trying to reach her. She was seen logged onto her aim account by several people, only to immediately log off or ignore her friends when asked about the situation. She constantly updated her Facebook page with photos. I was also informed that Zihui Zhang was busy with modeling shoots during this time, which is evident if you look at her Model Mayhem portfolio. She chose to ignore people that she owed while she was more than capable of replying to their messages.

Many other people have paid Zihui Zhang for items only to never receive them. Some were able to receive partial refunds after filing a complaint on PayPal. Several others were in the middle of negotiating trades with Zihui Zhang, but fortunately they did not lose anything.

I am now out a very rare memo pad that is worth a considerable amount to me, as well as money spent on packing materials and shipping. Others have been swindled out of their money. I have filed numerous reports through the postal office and IC3.

Who Zihui Zhang has scammed and their complaints:

Macaron_Pink! (Flickr): This is me. See above.

Violet_Lunchell (Flickr): hi, i know that kawaii_stickers aka winnie and usahanawinnie is a very well known kawaii collector on LJ and flickr but although i bought and swapped with her before, i can say that she's an scammer. i'm one of those who were cheated; i bought a memo from her and paid right away on September 11th, i told her to let me know when she mail it out. she didn't tell me about the shipping of my order but i thought that she might be very busy. after almost a month i started sending emails to her and i posted a notice on my flickr, but she never replied. many other people started to show up saying that they didn't receive any reply or item from her. at first we were worried about her but then some people saw her logged on aim and youtube as well as making purchases on etsy. some of us filed paypal disputes but got no answer either.

Fireytemperedkorean (Flickr): Yeah I paid Winnie on Sept. 21 for 2 memos >< (I paid a little late, but only by a few days) And then I have not heard from her since! I saw her on AIM and I sent her a message and then she logged off...I had to file a paypal dispute just because I don't want to lose that money! I'm sure she's busy, but it would be nice to know what's going on... T_T
She sent you used items too? I bought a Parfait Time memo and it was BADLY used >< T_T I really loved that memo..

Fruittree5 (Etsy): I wasn't able to get my refund at all from Paypal. to me, they're
the same as this friggin' retard! I did an etsy.com purchase
in aug. and tried to give the b***h the benefit of the doubt on
her only email response to my inquiries. But, alas, I was duped
out of sixteen bucks(for three kawaii stationery items). What
the hell ails people to be jack-asses? F----g grow up dumbass!

Val_buchanan (Etsy): hi there, just found this i was also scammed from this person . And my daughters heart was broken as she has been waiting and waiting for her stickers. I did file a reimbursement of money from paypal but it has been to long. I also sent a email to etsy, they were very prompt but there was nothing they could do either. Its sad it really is. But makes me sit up a little more before i purchase anything!
Also a question i had wrote a email to desdemonas garden on etsy as the name seems to be the same but she claims she is not the same person.
frustrating. Although it was only 23.00 it still is maddening.

Lunaricsales (Etsy): Feedback left for Zihui Zhang's Desdemona's Treasures account: Im sorry I have to do this, but I paid you 2 weeks ago, and I havent gotten my items, or heard back from you on the last 4 times ive tried to contact you. If you ever get back to me, ill consider removing the feedbacks... but this wait is rediculous... BUT giving you the benifit of a doubt something bad may have happend, like I said ill work it out with you. Just PLEASE contact me!
In a message to me: i havent gotten anything from her. Paypal dispute pulled the last 11.71 she had in her account and paid me back that much, but im still short about 8 bucks from the deal. i cant believe etsy hasnt locked her account. i filed 4 un recieved items and left 4 negs, shouldnt that be a clue? aye

Glamorous_gabi (Flickr): BEWARE OF WINNIE AKA KAWAII_STICKERS, SO FAR SHE HAS LIED /SCAMMED TO A COUPLE GIRLS ON MY FLICKR...SOME WR EXPECTING "KAWAII SUNSHINE PACKAGES" EVEN WORSE PACKAGES WITH ITEMS THEY HAD ALREADY PAID FOR...AND OFCOURSE NEVER RECEIVED s**+*T!!! IM SOO UPSET BECUASE I WAS ABOUT TO SEND HER THIS...BUT THANKFULLY I DECIDED TO WAIT UNTILL I GOT HERS, WHICH I NEVER DID SO ALL MY CUTIE STUFF IS SAFE AT HOME WITH ME! PHEWW!!! I SUGGEST TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE PAID FOR THINGS AND NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING THAT IF YOU PAID THROUGH PAYPAL PLEASE OPEN A DISPUTE ASAP...I ALREADY DID AND IM SURE PAYPAL WILL NMOTICE THAT THERE IS MORE THAN ONE CASE OPEN FOR THIS 'SELLER" AND HOPEFULLY TAKE MORE ACTION RE: THIS......ANYWAY THANK YOU (U KNOW WHO :D) FOR THE FLICKR MESSAGE I DIDNT KNOW I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS GOING THROUGH THIS......IM GLAD WE REALIZED IN TIME BEFORE WE SENT OUT OUR PRECIOUS ITEMS! SHE SERIOUSLY GIVES KAWAINESS AND SWAPPING A BAD NAME!!!

Other complaints:

Candy_kuma: "I have a bad experience with her as well.
I bought 2 lots on cherry berry auctions. Then she mailed me and said that one of the rare sacks in the lot was "temp. unavailiable". (How the hell can she sell stuff she doesn't have??) Then she said she'd give me hers, from her personal collection. (it took ages to get a mail)I doubtet the whole deal, but agreed. Then she took ages to reply again. Then I said to her that we should call off the whole deal. I was tired of waiting, pissed off and I felt something was wrong. So luckily I didn't pay her a dime."

Rebecca_grave: she kinda ripped me off back in september. i won two auction lots from her on cherryberry and had to hunt her down via emails and flickr mails for like two weeks before she even shipped my items, though any emails related to paying her were answered super fast.
so she finally shipped them with an email saying how sorry she is and that she has been busy, etc. and promised to send me extras to make up for it.
when i received my package, there weren't any extras... fine, whatever, but there wasn't even a d**n note or invoice or anything. i understand that kind of thing is just annoying, and not criminal. so i am just bitching for a mini-moment. lol.
what IS criminal is that i have recently discovered that one of the sticker sacks in the lot have almost half of the stickers missing. she sent me a used sticker sack that was listed as brand new. and this is not a mistake by the company.. i did buy a sticker sack a while ago that was missing a whole design (another seller, who graciously replaced it and let me know it's happened with the particular kawaii company before), but this wasn't like that. stickers, two of each design, had been removed from the packet.
emails go unanswered... i can't say if it's on purpose or her email is full.. i dunno anymore. it's just shady behavior all around in my opinion.

I will be emailing evidence to RipoffReport in a few moments to back up these complaints.

Please stop lying, Zihui Zhang.

AUTHOR: Name - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Assuming the rebuttal claiming this is all a hoax is written by "Winnie" Zihui Zhang,

Zihui Zhang, you HAVE stolen money and items from people and there is plenty of proof regarding this, which I will provide below. It is truly sad how you would rather lie about this instead of just apologizing and returning everyone's items. It has come to this because you have chosen to avoid everyone for months. In fact, this is the first I've heard from you directly since last year. I cannot comprehend why you are doing this.

I did not know you personally prior to your sales post on Flickr, so I have no idea what you mean by "we had a falling out a while back" and "personal disagreement". That is a complete lie. There was no "cyberstalking" involved. You did not return my emails and Flickr mails in regards to our trade agreement, so I contacted you through your Facebook account, which can be seen by the public. Your friends list is also public. There was no "hacking" involved. I sent messages asking them how I could get in contact with you because there was no other way of getting in contact with you.

If you had simply returned everyone's things, I would not have contacted you on your public internet profiles. I was simply trying to get back what you stole from me. After I contacted your friends, you quickly deleted your main Flickr account without saying a word to any of the people you owed. You also reported the scam report I posted on Flickr outlining your activities and it was taken down. You have not replied to ANY of our emails, asking for refunds and returns of the money and stationery you stole. You blatantly ignored everyone for months and months while you were active on other sites.

If this whole situation is just a lie perpetuated by someone out to ruin your reputation out of spite, why are there multiple credible individuals who report the same thing? Why would you delete your online accounts directly associated with your scamming and cut off all contact with your internet friends instead of confronting the alleged defamer and dealing with it directly? You only defend yourself here because RipOffReport has a wide audience so to speak, RipOffReport does not take down reports, and your real name is attached to this mess. You can't simply ignore or report this page for harassment and get it taken down, so instead you lie and deny everything to save face.

I would post links to photos and screenshots that I have taken detailing this incident, but knowing you, you would probably report them and have them taken down. So I will be sending evidence to this site directly through email for them to post them.

Here are few links that are still active (unless Zihui Zhang reports them for "harassment"):

http://www.flickr.com/photos/glamorous_gabi/2832793576/
http://www.flickr.com/photos/violetlunchell/2932024685/

I have given you so many chances to return everyone's money and items (it's almost been a year!), but you continue to avoid and ignore, and now, flat out lie.

I'll be posting more information shorty.

I'm surprised it has come to this

AUTHOR: Anon - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, August 24, 2009

I know the individual that filed this report. We had a falling out a while back and I thought nothing of it until I came across this report. I am genuinely that it has come to this. This complaint is a hoax meant to damage my personal reputation because of a personal disagreement long ago. I really did not expect that this person would sink so low as to falsify information in an attempt to harm me and damage my reputation.

I have gotten a few harassing emails, messages and they even went so far as to hack my list of friends and send them false and slanderous messages about me. I have been cyberstalked by this person, thus is why they have obtained and posted all of my private account and membership information. Now they have not only damaged my reputation but they have dragged some of my friends and family members down.

The information in this complaint is erroneous and has no basis on reality. Unfortunately ripoffreport.com does not verify complaints, so this was the perfect medium for a personal attack. And since these reports are never deleted, all my personal information and these fake claims. I am deeply disturbed by this lack of a protection of privacy. While freedom of speech allows people to post anything they want, there is also a fine line because freedom to speak your mind and protecting a person's right to privacy.

I am saddened by the use of false allegations for spite. But even more so, I am disappointed by the under-handed approach used by a vindictive individual.
