My sister received a form letter from this company and was suspicious enough to send it to me and I only had to do a little research to find out that this company is a complete SCAM. It turns out that the people in the company are either used car dealers or completely made up.

The company has a class action suit against it for the misuse of DMV information and violating people's privacy. And I for one want to know how does this company get all this information that is so specific to the owner of the car when they tell you that even the DMV doesn't have this information. Well, then how in the heck did THEY get the information about my sister's car and where she lived and God knows what else since the class action lawyer claims that the company also gets your social security number too.

When you Google their address it turns out to be one of those "rent-a-offices" where you can rent a mailbox, answering service and conference room by the hour. And when you Google "National Automobile Safety Council Ripoff" boy do you get a whole bunch of the same type of complaints about these guys.

If you go to their website and click the menu item called "The Truth" you go to The President's Message which is signed by "William Robertson". Only problem is, according to the lawyer who's handling the class action suit against NASC-INC, there is no "William Robertson"!!! Why in the heck would you label your main article THE TRUTH from the President of your company, and have it all be a lie. Do they really think people are so stupid? That somebody might want to talk to or interview the so-called President of the company - and he doesn't even exist!

Front-to-back, top-to-bottom...nothing about this company even appears legitimate, much less actually being legitimate. Even the letterhead on the page that a lady received from NASC-INC looks like a scam. Just look at the "stars and stripes shield" and the "Notice: Safety Advisory". It all looks like somebody trying to look like they are from the DMV or goverment.

All I can say after talking to my sister and reading all of the complaints online is stay way away from this company. Whatever they are doing to cause all of these complaints can't be good. And if there's a class action suit against them on top of it. What does that tell you? Stay as far away from this company as you can and report anything you get from them to you local DA's office.
