NATIONAL FITNESS AKA OMNI FITNESS I SENT A LETTER DATED JUNE 1, 2012 DEMANDIND THAT MY MEMBERSHIP BE CANCELLED AFTER LISA PISSED ME OFF. NOT ONLY WAS MY CARD DEBITED AGAIN, IT WAS DEBITED ON A DAY THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE NOTING THAT LAYTON, Utah

I have been a loyal paying customer with Omni Fitness for almost 2 years when I was contacted by National Fitness, an outsource financial company who handles their contract payments and was informed that my account was delinquent in February of this year. The last payment was debited in November and Decemeber did not debit. For almost two years there had been no problems so upon investigation, my debit card had expired.

To fix the problem I instructed "Lisa", to fix the problem by taking additional payments to get the account back up to standard. At that time I believed the account to be fixed. I was contacted by mail in March stating that the account was again delinquent. Well there were no problems with my card, no problems with money in my account so I called "Lisa" to inquire why this was the case.

She informed me that there was a $7.00 balance that was left and it accumulated over $60.00 in late charges. At this point I became pissed because there shouldn't have been a balance because we had settled the issue with extra payments to be debited to clear up the problem. This seemed to be a none factor to "Lisa". When I tried to get clarity on how and why this took place, "Lisa" became rude, belligerant, and ignorant; almost finding my anger to be her amusement.

So I informed her that this was my money that I was discussing, not hers and when I ask questions and need answers for clarity that she should oblige. She never answered my question. The call became a cat and mouse game because I told "Lisa" I wanted to speak with her supervisor that she tells me she doesn't have and that I cannot; that I will have to deal with her. So I hang up out of frustration and call back and sure enough, "Lisa" answered.

So at this point, I asked Lisa a question she could answer: When does my contract end? She tells me that I was no longer on contract but now on month-to-month. So I requested that my account be cancelled. I'm told to put it in writing. I hang up and go to Omni Gym and speak with the facility manager. I'm told by him not to worry, he will handle it. He waived the fees and got me back on track.

I was so angry with the experience and just infuriated that I would have to deal with this ratched unprofessional woman again if I had more problems that I wanted nothing to do with National Fitness or my gym anymore. I wrote "Lisa" a letter instructing her to cancel my membership account and to not debit my card anymore. The letter wasn't sent certified but was dated June 1, 2012. She received the letter, read the contents and decided that not only was going to debit my account another month's membership fee, that she was going to do so 17 days before the original contracted agreement. I want my money back and want to be rid of Lisa, National Fitness, and Omni Fitness.
