National General Insurance I had full coverage auto insurance with this company and paid every month. My car was stolen and the will not pay the claim or fix the vehicle after I've been a loyal customer paying every month. They've in so many words accused me of having something to do with stealing my vehicle. The arranged for a rental for me and when I constantly asked when is the rental due, the agent, Angela Hargrove, told me someone would get in touch with me to let me know when I was to return the car. They never did and if I hadn't called her again I would have owed the rental place a bigger balance than I had to pay, which I felt I shouldn't had to since I was not informed to return the vehicle. I had full coverage auto insurance by National General Insurance. My vehicle was stolen March 2016 and I had nothing but grief from this company since then.
I paid my premium every month even when they constantly raised the amount every renewal date eventhough I have a clean dring record. I reported my vehicle was missing and they hesitately arranged a rental car from enterprise for me.
Doing this period while the claim was being investigated I constantly contacted the agent Angela Hargrove with no success most of the time. I would leave messages for her to return my call and she NEVER returned my calls.
I then asked for her manager and requested to be assigned to another agent. He was very cold and unprofessional and stated to me " I'm not going to swith agents. I only have three agents and if I switched you I would have to switch everyone who request it. "
I spoke with with Hargrove's manager because the rental car agency was charging me for the overlapse which occured because Hargrove did not contact me to inform me it was time to return the car.
Her manager sided with her eventhough she stated to him she did not let me know it was time to return the vehicle. Therefore I had to pay out of pocket because National General refused to.
I constantly asked Angela Hargrove when is the vehicle return date. Her exact words were " hold on let me check. She returned to the phone and stated, you good on your rental, someone will contact you when it's time to return it."
My vehicle was stolen in March and I have been nothing but cooperative and patient with these people. Now almost three months later you inform me that National General will not be paying the claim or repairing the vehicle.
They pretty much accused me of having something to do with the vehicle being stolen. They stated I was uncooperative which was not true at all. I've been nothing but cooperative with these people.
I am extremely frustrated with this company.
